‘22-’23 November Season-Long Power Rankings

With the NFL playoff picture becoming more clear and the NBA season underway, we are finally at the point in the season where the season-long contenders are starting to become more clear, but like last year showed, a lot can change throughout the year.

At this time last year in the season-long power rankings (, the eventual money makers (top 4) in the league were ranked:

Sporty Strauss (1st place finisher) - 8th
Win’s Up Doc (2nd place tied) - 6th
Wait Til Next Year (2nd place tied) - 1st
Las Cabras (4th place finisher) - 9th

To no one’s surprise, Jimmy (Name Redacted), had Kyle in a tier of his own at the top of the season-long power rankings.

This league still comes down to what happens in the playoffs. Once you make the playoffs, anything can happen. We learned that last year, when Sporty Strauss surprisingly won the NFL after sneaking into the playoffs as the 6 seed and used the cushion in points to go all in to win the league. Winning NFL puts you at a huge advantage in this league.

Anything can happen in the playoffs, but positioning still matter. Teams that that get a playoff bye secure at least 9 points, teams that make the playoffs secure at least 7 points, and teams that get a consolation bye secure at least 3 points.

With how this year looks to be shaping up, every point matters.

Current Projected Standings (points at current standings):

  1. Cooper Troopers – (NFL – 1st) – (NBA 6th)  22 pts

  2. The Pullies – (NFL 2nd) – (NBA 4th)  21 pts

  3. $traight Cash Homie (NFL – 4th) – (NBA 3rd)  19 pts

  4. Minnesota Moose Knuckles (NFL – 3rd) – (NBA 5th) 18 pts

  5. Wait Til Next Year (NFL – 7th) (NBA – 2nd)  18 pts

  6. Win’s Up Doc (NFL 10th) – (NBA 1st)  18 pts

  7. SG Choppers (NFL 6th) – (NBA 8th)  12 pts

  8. Sporty Strauss (NFL 8th) – (NBA 7th)  11 pts

  9. Las Cabras (NFL – 5th) (NBA – 11th) 10 pts

  10. Matty Ice Owls (NFL 11th) – (NBA 10th)  5 pts

  11. DTC Porkchop Express (NFL – 9th) – (NBA 12th)  4 pts

  12. Ornery Otters (NFL 12th) – (NBA 9th)  4 pts

Current November Power Rankings

Tier 1 (The Favorites)
1- Cooper Troopers – (NFL – 1st) – (NBA 6th)  22 pts
2- Win’s Up Doc (NFL 10th) – (NBA 1st) 18 pts
3- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (NFL – 3rd) – (NBA 5th) 18 pts
4- The Pullies – (NFL 2nd) – (NBA 4th)  21 pts
5- $traight Cash Homie (NFL – 4th) – (NBA 3rd)  19 pts
6- Wait Til Next Year (NFL – 7th) (NBA – 2nd)  18 pts

Tier 2 (Could Make a Run)
7- SG Choppers (NFL 6th) – (NBA 8th) 12 pts
8- Las Cabras (NFL – 5th) (NBA – 11th) 10 pts

Tier 3 (Wembanyama Hopefuls)
9- Sporty Strauss (NFL 8th) – (NBA 7th)  11 pts
10- Ornery Otters (NFL 12th) – (NBA 9th)  4 pts
11- Matty Ice Owls (NFL 11th) – (NBA 10th)  5 pts
12- DTC Porkchop Express (NFL – 9th) – (NBA 12th)  4 pts

(Tier 1) You could probably rank these 6 teams any way you want, but these seem to be the clear favorites at this part in the season. Cooper Troopers gets the 1 spot here simply due to his outlook in NFL. He has been battling injuries, but he still looks to have the best team in NFL and is close to clinching his division and is in a good spot for a playoff bye. If Cooper can win NFL he will put himself in a good spot to go all in this year.

Minnesota Moose Knuckles, The Pullies, and $traight Cash Homie are all currently in the top 5 for both NFL and NBA. These teams are all fighting for what looks like the 2nd playoff bye (assuming Coop holds on to the other bye). These teams all look strong in NFL and NBA. None of the teams were dominant in MLB, but both The Pullies and $traight Cash were the middle of the league and The Moose Knuckles will have a lot of draft capital this year as well as adding keepers in MLB at the end of last year.

Wins Up Doc and Wait Til Next Year both are currently on the outside looking in for the NFL playoffs but have very strong teams in the other sports. Wins Up Doc may have the best NFL team currently in the consolation bracket and will be getting Deshaun Watson back for the playoffs. He also sports what looks like the heavy favorite in NBA. To win the league, you have to find a way to win one of the three leagues (or take top 2/3 in a couple). The Doctor looks to do that in NBA and has a strong MLB team as well. Wait Til Next Year could greatly increase his season long odds if he can get that last NFL playoff spot. As of now he looks like he will at least get a consolation bye to bring points into his better leagues, NBA and MLB. He made several moves to improve his NFL team and he needs all the points he can get in NFL. His NBA team is 3-0 and looks like a playoff team, but has a lot of question marks with Kyrie and Kawhi’s injury concerns.

(Tier 2) SG Choppers and Las Cabras don’t have the NBA and MLB teams to be in Tier One right now, but they both are currently projected to make the NFL Playoffs. Either of these teams could get hot in the playoffs and find themselves with 15 or 12 early season points. A win for either of these teams in NFL could put them in a spot to make some moves to compete this year, similarly to what Sporty Strauss did last year.

(Tier 3) Sporty Strauss is projected for 11 NFL/NBA points but this is over inflating where he is right now. He is not projected to be in the playoffs in either sport which puts a limit on how many points you can secure. If you don’t make the playoffs in two sports, you don’t have a much of a chance.

Ornery Otters is a team that just can’t seem to catch a break. They consistently score more points than their record indicates. They have enough talent to potentially make some runs and score season long points but it will be tough to break into the top 4.

Matty Ice Owls it seems like is starting to look forward to next year with shopping some of his old talent (which he has a lot of). He currently has a team that could win games, but it may make the most sense to try to lose this year and gain assets for the future.

DTC Porkchop Express is in a similar situation. He has a lot of young talent in NFL and NBA and just is not yet ready to compete for the league. He will look to offload some older talent as well (Chris Paul is on the block btw).

(Tier 1) There’s no doubt about it – Wait ‘Til Next Year (1) is the firm, commanding favorite to win the League of Leagues at the outset of this season season. With an absolutely unreal baseball team that should only get better in the future, and NBA team centered around two young mega- tars and an improving NFL roster, it’s honestly going to be hard for Kyle NOT to win next season.

Right now, somehow his biggest competition is the Cooper Troopers (2) who have yet to prove that they can compete on a weekly (and sport-ly) basis. But the Cooper Troopers have the second best rosters in the league behind Kyle, and if he stays healthy, Coop should cash out this season. He’ll take that. It all starts with football for both of these teams, and it starts in week 1! These two teams start out of the gate playing each other. They will be in the same division, and battles between the two could decide the winner of the League of Leagues and a $4K prize to boot.

(Tier 2) Win’s Up Doc (3) brings a unique blend of teams to the table. With a sub-par NFL team that lacks high-level quarterbacking, his best bet is waiting until the Consolation Tournament to unleash Penis Watson and get 6 points in NFL. Then he could easily win NBA again, and his MLB situation is outstanding too. This doesn’t look like a league-winning situation for Doc this year, but placing 2nd through 4th should be expected of one of the better GMs in the league.

After that is another upstart, $traight Cash Homie (4), who is looking to right the wrongs of the previous season by going from worst to first. That scenario is completely realistic, because his NFL team is great and should give him momentum into the NBA season, especially if he gets off to a hot start. He just needs more luck this season, both in the games themselves and with injuries. Like Oat, he needs to compete in 2 sports whilst perhaps winning the NBA Consolation bracket. Because of the weakness of his NBA team, his upside is capped.

That is not the case for Sporty Strauss (5) who probably should be ranked higher. But there’s a lot of ways for this season to break wrong for Strauss. His NFL team is good not great with Tom Brady showing signs of concern. Strauss is heavily relying on him with limited depth behind. He traded NBA assets and has the last pick of the NBA draft too, which will hurt him in that particular sport. And then his team is simply aging significantly in baseball. He should make the playoffs in all 3 sports if things don’t break terribly, but he’s not expected to dominate any of the 3. So there is inherent volatility in Sporty Strauss’ ranking. He could be much higher. He could be lower.

There should be a mini tier break here. The aforementioned teams all have the pieces to win a championship, but the teams below don’t necessarily. The SG Choppers (6) come next, and they have the best chance to win out of anyone left. NFL is random and, with Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, the SG Choppers could do anything in that sport. And his NBA team actually looks mightily impressive, especially after trading Chet Holmgren for Ivey/Jabari and a 3rd round pick. The Choppers just have an awful MLB situation, but that could be rectified before that season. If he’s in contention, all he needs to do is trade some future picks and load up for a stretch run in baseball. It’ll be a fascinating situation. Even then, it is still more likely that he his team’s straits will be rectum-fied than rectified.

Next are The Pullies (7), and a similar logic applies. While their NFL team is awful beyond a stellar top-3 players, the rest of their teams are solid but unspectacular. It’s hard to see The Pullies truly competing and its easy to see them falling apart, but somewhere in the middle might be the most likely destination for everyone’s favorite team to shit-bag.

And while The Pullies and Choppers could each finish at last place as well, the remaining teams stand a far likelier shot. Las Cabras (8) probably fancy themselves a contender, but their NFL team is a tad overrated and their MLB team is an abject disaster. It’d be hard for them to truly compete in NBA too, leaving them in a bit of a no-man’s land. Having a good dynasty NFL team could actually turn out to be a curse. If they finish near the top of NFL again, which is certainly possible, they will knock themselves out of tanking competition. Las Cabras might be doomed to be a mid team for the rest of their lives.

(Tier 3)

The following four teams have a chance at last place. The MN Moose Knuckles (9) have decidedly mid-tier teams in every sport. Nothing feels super sexy. They needed NFL picks to simply improve a broken situation. They’ll have two MLB first rounders, but it might be too little too late at that point! The Moose Knuckles NBA squad will tell all. He had to take it 3rd in the Strauss Draft, and it could suffer as a result. A lot of his players are doomed to take a step back this season, and he’s still counting on two straight years of solid health for Joel Embiid to compete. If football goes poorly again this season, the Moose Knuckles might begin to tank and load up for next season with Wemby.

The BamO’s (10) are obviously a candidate for last place. With only 1 pick in the first 4 rounds of the NBA Draft, The BamO’s have an impossible task to rebuild their squad. It’s going to be tough despite having Steph Curry, Paul George and Bam Adebayo. Any season ceiling is capped by that team, despite solid NFL and MLB teams.

DTC Porkchop Express is nexted. While banking on taking Chet Holmgren with his first NBA pick, Craig is putting last place at risk. NFL could be fine, but he lacks the QBs to take a championship home. And MLB is quite awful, as we saw by his last-place finish. This year, the Porkchop Express probably will be quicker to tank for Wemby as well, making them a high likelihood of getting last place if football doesn’t get off to a fast start.

But he has the Ornery Otters to contend with. The Otters aren’t a disaster by any means. There are good players on his NFL squad. There are young studs in NBA. And he won a game in the baseball playoffs this season, but his rosters are just awkwardly constructed and potentially built to lose. He’s more or less punting RB2 in football, focusing on sustainable NFL receiver talent. His NBA team looks quite poor beyond Cade and LaMelo. If those sports don’t go according to plan, an MLB tank is perfectly reasonable and he’d be well-positioned to draft Victor Wemanyama in next year’s draft. This could be the year for the Ornery Otters to set a foundation for the future.

(Tiers1&2)

Right now, 5 teams are competing for the top-4 cash outs in the league of Leagues:

  • Win’s Up Doc (1)

    • 18 CURRENT points

    • MAX of 33 points

    • MIN of 27 points

  • Sporty Strauss (2)

    • 18 CURRENT points

    • MAX of 24 points

    • MIN of 18 points

  • Ornery Otters (5)

    • 13 CURRENT points

    • MAX of 28 points

    • MIN of 20 points

With the two lowest season-long seeds in the MLB Playoffs – the Cooper Troopers and $traight Cash Homie – the payouts will undoubtably come from four of these five teams. 1st place takes $4K, 2nd place takes $2K, 3rd takes $1K and 4th takes $500, which almost covers league fees for next year.

Win’s Up Doc (1) and Wait ‘Til Next Year (3) have the MLB BYEs and have to wait a week before determining who they play and what is at stake next week. But right now, Sporty Strauss (2) the Ornery Otters (5) and Las Cabras (4) are in the fights of their lives to place and cash out.

(Tier 3) This Tier is reserved for teams who cannot place, but also cannot finish last (unless absolute madness happens). The BamO’s (6) and DTC Porkchop Express (8) are two teams who fit this bill, both of whom are guaranteed 16 points at minimum. By making the MLB Playoffs, the Cooper Troopers (7) also avoided last-place, but they could be playing too well right now, knocking themselves out of contention for a top Strauss pick.

(Tier 4) And then there’s these teams who are competing to avoid last place. $traight Cash Homie (12) is still the team most likely to get last, because he really needs to win games in the MLB playoffs to avoid it. If he wins even two playoff games (first and third rounds), he has a good chance of avoiding last place. If he makes the championship game, he will definitely avoid last place. More coming on this next week when we know whether or not Jack clinched last place or not.

At the top of this Tier, the MN Moose Knuckles (9) are still very much alive as a last-place contender despite coming in 2nd in NBA. He would have to lose MLB outright, however, but that’s within the range of possibilities right now with a 30-point projection difference against the SG Choppers (11) isn’t a huge gap.

Speaking of the SG Choppers, they are in serious risk of getting last place right now. With a team that has been on the decline, it’s time to see if his tanking strategy works perfectly or backfires. If he wins one playoff game, even the last place game, odds are he avoids last. But if he loses MLB, which is maybe probable, he will score 13 points total and ride off to the sunset at a golf course tavern.

The last team to mention in Tier 4 is The Pullies (10) who are guaranteed a minimum of 13 points. They at least tie last place if they lose both of their playoff matchups after their Consolation BYE, regardless of what happens to other teams. Then if they lose their first game and win the second, they’ll take last place as long as the Choppers win one game and the Homies win two games. It’s definitely in play, but they’ll likely win their first playoff game against one of the core 4 bad, sucky teams and avoid it.

Current Projected Standings (with MLB):

  1. Win’s Up Doc (33 points)

  2. Sporty Strauss (32 points)

  3. Wait ‘Til Next Year (25 points)

  4. Las Cabras (21 points)

  5. Ornery Otters (21 points)

  6. The BamO’s (19 points)

  7. MN Moose Knuckles (18 points)

  8. DTC Porkchop Express (16 points)

  9. Cooper Troopers (15 points)

  10. The Pullies (15 points)

  11. Shepherd Goods Choppers (15 points)

  12. $traight Cash Homie (13 points)

PROJECTED Strauss Draft Order

  1. $traight Cash Homie – (Paolo Banchero)

  2. SG Choppers – (Chet Holmgren)

  3. The Pullies – (Breece Hall)

  4. Cooper Troopers – (Jabari Smith)

  5. DTC Porkchop Express – (Jaden Ivey)

12- The BamOs (12 proj.)

(Tier 1) There’s no doubt about it – Wait ‘Til Next Year (1) is undoubtably the favorite to win the League of Leagues next season. With an absolutely unreal baseball team that should only get better in the future, and NBA team centered around two young stars and an improving NFL roster, it’s honestly going to be hard for Kyle NOT to win next season. Right now, he’s projected to have 10 more points than any other team, and that includes an NFL team that is on the outside looking in of the playoffs. If his NFL team is remotely good, the league is a wrap (and it might already be).

It’s honestly hard to overstate how good his MLB team is going forward. This squad is absurd, and his NBA team isn’t much worse. I’d pencil in a Wait ‘Til Next Year league win next year, and expect to be playing for second if I were trying to compete.

(Tier 2) Sporty Strauss (2) is built to compete next year once again. It’s a little bit more of a win-now team than most builds, and he should do just that: win now. There are a few ways for this team to go astray, always starting with the flukiness of NFL, but Tom Brady has one more year in him, another $2K is within Strauss’ reach.

The Ornery Otters (3) are the surprise team here. With a full array of draft assets and a young core, Korey should be able to place as long as nothing goes horrible. Each of his teams are built for the future – particularly NBA and MLB – and he just needs to hope his WR issues straighten out over time in NFL. He’s got talent, that’s for sure.

(Tier 3) Next there is a group of teams that are hard to separate – the top-four of whom are projected to be within a point of each other. $traight Cash Homie (4) leads this group with extra draft assets that can be used to build dynamic new teams. It’s far from a certainty though, and one of Win’s Up Doc (5), the Cooper Troopers (6) and the SG Choppers (7) could easily slide in and place next season. The Cooper Troopers have the most potential of the bunch with a really solid NFL prognosis. Doc rests his case on NBA, per usual, while the SG Choppers ALSO have an excellent NBA situation with a top-3 pick and surplus of draft assets.

This race could be tight, and it’s not right to count out Las Cabras (8), DTC Porkchop Express (9) or the MN Moose Knuckles (10), each of whom have a case to be higher on this list. For Las Cabras and DTC Porkchop Express – it’s simple… those NFL teams have a high probability of being EXCELLENT, meaning that Jordan+Trevor and Craig could allocate future assets towards competing in NBA and MLB when the need arises. For the MN Moose Knuckles, having every single one of Sam’s first round picks gives him a ridiculous bonus that could be used to rebuild some sorry rosters.

(Tier 4) First in the last Tier are the The Pullies, who are ranked this low due to the weakness of their NFL roster. The Pullies are in absolute purgatory going forward if they can’t figure something out in NFL. The trick is that if they suck at NFL, they’ll be behind the 8-ball all season. They won’t be able to justify making moves in NBA and MLB, and they are competent enough in both of those sports not to suck. They’ll be playing just to not get the last place penalty and then hopefully reload a sorry NFL squad the following season.

But in last place is The BamO’s. This isn’t just due to the loss of the first round picks. Sam currently has no prospects that are even ranked right now, so his MLB team is going to be horrible year-after-year. And then he lost MULTIPLE draft picks in NBA for not setting his lineup when he needs all the depth he could muster. His NFL team is still really, really good, however, but that alone won’t save him. Sam is in huge trouble not only next year, but every future year after that. I would certainly bank on Sam getting a lion’s share of the last-place penalties in the League of Leagues with an old, aging NFL team, lack of youth in NBA and a complete lack of youth in MLB.

June Season-Long Power Rankings

May Season-Long Power Rankings

Note: Every month, something like this will get posted about what the CURRENT Power Rankings are. These will be sure to change every week, but not as drastically as an in-season Power Rankings.

CURRENT STANDINGS

  1. Sporty Strauss - 22 POINTS

  2. Win’s Up Doc - 18 POINTS

  3. Las Cabras - 18 POINTS

  4. DTC Porkchop Express - 16 POINTS

  5. MN Moose Knuckles - 14 POINTS

  6. The BamO’s - 13 POINTS

  7. Wait ‘Til Next Year - 13 POINTS

  8. Ornery Otters - 13 POINTS

  9. Shepherd Goods Choppers - 13 POINTS

  10. The Pullies - 10 POINTS

  11. Cooper Troopers - 8 POINTS

  12. $traight Cash Homie - 4 POINTS

Current Season-Long Power Rankings

Tier 1
1- Sporty Strauss (22 points + 7 MLB = 29 proj.)
2- Wait ’Til Next Year (13 points +15 MLB = 28 proj.)
3- Win’s Up Doc (18 points + 6 MLB = 24 proj.)

Tier 2
4- Las Cabras (18 points + 4 MLB = 22 proj.)
5- The BamOs (13 points + 9 MLB = 22 proj.)
6- The Pullies (10 points + 10 MLB = 20 proj.)
7- Ornery Otters (13 points +5 MLB = 18 proj.)

Tier 3
8- DTC Porkchop Express (16 points + 0 MLB = 16 proj.)
9- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (14 points + 3 MLB = 17 proj.)
10- Shepherd Goods Choppers (13 points + 2 MLB = 15 proj.)
11- Cooper Troopers (8 points + 9 MLB = 17 proj.)
12- $traight Cash Homie (4 points + 12 MLB = 16 proj.)

(Tier 1) It’s a whole new race to the top right now. With Wait ‘Til Next Year (2) as the sole favorite in MLB, Win’s Up Doc (3) slips down to a distant 3rd place. Even Sporty Strauss (1) is in danger of missing the MLB playoffs right now. If he does and Wait ‘Til Next Year wins it all, the winning pot would be shared at the very least. These three teams are the only ones in contention for first place right now, and odds are high that these teams finish first, second and third place in the League of Leagues this season.

But right now, the terrible performances in MLB by Sporty Strauss and Win’s Up Doc are putting their finishes into question.

(Tier 2) 4th Place is VERY interesting, however. Right now, Las Cabras (4) and The BamO’s (5) are tied in projections for 4th place with The Pullies (6) a mere two points behind. 4th place nets $500, which isn’t nothing – that practically pays your league dues next season. The Ornery Otters (7) probably have the best MLB team of this bunch, but Korey’s record is a little bit lower and he’ll have a tough time clawing himself back into contention. But any of these 4 teams could easily get 4th place, and 3rd place isn’t out of the question depending on what happens.

(Tier 3) And down in Tier 3, we have an absolute race to the bottom between DTC Porkchop Express (8), the MN Moose Knuckles (9) and the SG Choppers (10) while the Cooper Troopers (11) and $traight Cash Homie (12) try to avoid last place.

It’s fascinating. All five of these teams are in contention for at least a tie for last place right. It would take a lot for DTC Porkchop Express to share in the last place penalty – $traight Cash Homie would have to come in second in MLB – but everyone else is firmly in play. Even the MN Moose Knuckles, who would need to lose the league and then have $traight Cash Homie come in 3rd.

Jack is still the favorite to come in last, because things really have to break right for him to succeed, but the Choppers are right there with him. Jordan and Jack could very well be sharing the last place penalty together.

Current Projected Standings (with MLB):

  1. Sporty Strauss (29 points)

  2. Wait ‘Til Next Year (28 points)

  3. Win’s Up Doc (24 points)

  4. Las Cabras (22 points)

  5. The BamO’s (22 points)

  6. The Pullies (20 points)

  7. Ornery Otters (18 points)

  8. MN Moose Knuckles (17 points)

  9. Cooper Troopers (17 points)

  10. DTC Porkchop Express (16 points)

  11. $traight Cash Homie (16 points)

  9. Shepherd Goods Choppers - 13 POINTS

  10. The Pullies - 10 POINTS

  11. Cooper Troopers - 8 POINTS

  12. $traight Cash Homie - 4 POINTS

Current Season-Long Power Rankings

Tier 1
1- Sporty Strauss (22 points + 12 MLB = 34 proj.)
2- Win’s Up Doc (18 points + 15 MLB = 33 proj.)

Tier 2
3- Wait ’Til Next Year (13 points +10 MLB = 23 proj.)
4- Las Cabras (18 points + 4 MLB = 22 proj.)
5- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (14 points + 9 MLB = 23 proj.)

Tier 3
6- The BamOs (13 points + 6 MLB = 19 proj.)
7- Ornery Otters (13 points +5 MLB = 18 proj.)
8- DTC Porkchop Express (16 points + 3 MLB = 19 proj.)
9- The Pullies (10 points + 7 MLB = 17 proj.)

Tier 4
10- Shepherd Goods Choppers (13 points +0 MLB = 13 proj.)
11- $traight Cash Homie (4 points + 8 MLB = 12 proj.)
12- Cooper Troopers (8 points + 2 MLB = 10 proj.)

(Tier 1) A 1-point difference between the top-2 teams is crazy, but a lot of this depends on seeding. It’s early to think about it, but we’ll entertain the exercise anyways: Win’s Up Doc (2) desperately wants a chance to play and beat Sporty Strauss (1) in the 2nd round of the MLB playoffs, even if Strauss is the 2nd best team. It’s possible. If whoever wins the Shepherd Goods Division (3-seed) between Jack, Pullies and Sam can beat the 6-seed, then Sporty Strauss or Win’s up Doc (whoever is the 4-seed) would head to the other division (as long as the other team is the top-seed). Otherwise, Win’s Up Doc will have to hope that Wait ‘Til Next Year, as the likely 2-seed, can beat Sporty Strauss in the 2nd round.

Bottom line: if Sporty Strauss makes the championship game of MLB, he clinches the League of Leagues.

(Tier 2) None of the teams in this Tier have a chance to finish first or second, but they could still place. Wait ‘Til Next Year (3) has an excellent chance to place 3rd with the strength of his MLB team. He should get a BYE modestly easily, and a top-3 finish probably gets him a 4th place at the least, though that isn’t a lock depending on the next couple of teams.

Las Cabras (4) have a weak MLB team with an easy schedule. But it’s all about the consolation bracket for them. If they can just inch their way into an MLB consolation BYE, they have a shot to score with 23 or 24 points and get some money.

The MN Moose Knuckles (5) have a little bit more variance. The schedule in MLB is easier, but they’ve dropped games to bad teams. Most importantly, they are also behind the 8-ball a little bit more bringing 14 points into play before MLB. Their route to placing is getting 3rd or 4th in MLB, which is certainly possible if his pitching staff can round into form. Maybe even higher.

(Tier 3) This Tier is a bridge. These teams have no chance of finishing last, and their odds of placing are growing slimmer by the day. It’s possible for them to get better in these rankings, but it’d take a leap out of their current MLB teams.

The BamO’s (6) are the most promising of the bunch, and he has no draft picks to tank for so he might as well try his hardest to place.

For the Ornery Otters (7), DTC Porkchop Express (8), and The Pullies (9), the odds are growing much stronger in their favor to sell off and try to tank to get the 4th pick in the Strauss Draft and grab one of the big 4 NBA rookies. Some of these teams like Craig and Korey have already started looking into this, but The Pullies and The BamO’s are caught more in no-man’s land with unpredictable MLB squads.

(Tier 4) The teams in this Tier are the teams with no chance to place and a chance to finish last. The SG Choppers (10) have a slim chance of actually finishing last, because he got incredibly lucky with his NFL squad. Even though he’s probably bound to finish last in MLB, he should only start getting uncomfortable if both the Cooper Troopers and $traight Cash Homie look like they are playoff-bound, which is unlikely.

But speaking of playoff bound, $traight Cash Homie (11) has an inside edge for a playoff spot which leaves the Cooper Troopers (12) as the NEW FAVORITE FOR THE LAST-PLACE PENALTY!! It’s going to be a close race between Coop and Jack, which will be entertaining as hell for the other 10 teams and probably Jack who thought he was dead in the water after NBA.

Coop very well might have to spend a day shortly after his wedding hiding in a restaurant or taking a sex doll out to dinner, and it will be glorious.

Current Projected Standings (with MLB):

  1. Sporty Strauss (34 points)

  2. Win’s Up Doc (33 points)

  3. Wait ‘Til Next Year (23 points)

  4. MN Moose Knuckles (23 points)

  5. Las Cabras (22 points)

  6. The BamO’s (19 points)

  9. Shepherd Goods Choppers - 13 POINTS

  10. The Pullies - 10 POINTS

  11. Cooper Troopers - 8 POINTS

  12. $traight Cash Homie - 4 POINTS

Current Season-Long Power Rankings

Tier 1
1- Sporty Strauss (22 points)
2- Win’s Up Doc (18 points)

Tier 2
3- Las Cabras (18 points)
4- The BamOs (13 points)
5- Wait ’Til Next Year (13 points)
6- DTC Porkchop Express (16 points)
7- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (14 points)
8- Ornery Otters (13 points)
9- The Pullies (10 points)

Tier 3
10- Cooper Troopers (8 points)
11- Shepherd Goods Choppers (13 points)
12- $traight Cash Homie (4 points)

(Tier 1) It’s officially a 2-horse rase. Sporty Strauss (1) and Win’s Up Doc (2) look closer and closer every week to even odds right now. Strauss gets the edge, because, he has 4 more points, which is significant when you break it down. But Win’s Up Doc took the first game over Sporty Strauss and just looks to have a stronger MLB team. If Win’s Up Doc can win baseball, all he needs is for Sporty Strauss to finish get 3rd in order to claim the top prize. If Win’s Up Doc gets 2nd, he needs Sporty Strauss to finish 5th or 6th place in order to tie or win. However, Win’s Up Doc really needs to finish 1st or 2nd to claim the victory unless Sporty Strauss misses the playoffs.

All eyes are on these fryers right now.

(Tier 2) The Las Cabras (3) baseball team looks rough, but they still have a chance to compete for season-long points. It’s just going to take a little bit more work. The Tatis injury hurts, and they currently have 8 (!!!) IL-eligible players. The roster is a shell right now, and they are going to have to claw tooth-and-nail to stay afloat. They’re a bottom-3 MLB team right now, and that would doom them. But they are tied for 2nd in points currently and simply have more margin for error.

In general, Tier 2 is really hard to project early in the MLB season. The BamO’s (3), Ornery Otters (7), and Pullies (9) are off to strong MLB starts, boosting their odds of placing 3rd or 4th in season-long. And Wait ‘Til Next Year (4) and the MN Moose Knuckles (7) are off to poor starts, muddying these waters significantly. During next month’s Season-Long Power Rankings, we’ll have a much firmer grasp of these squads

DTC Porkchop Express (6) is here by virtue of being 4th in season-long points coming into the MLB season, but he took a tanking approach to the draft and doesn’t seem to be the most concerned with winning. However, his MLB team doesn’t look like a disaster, and there’s a chance he rattles off more wins than expected, including Week 1.

(Tier 3) The Cooper Troopers (10) MLB team doesn’t look too shabby, taking advantage of a weak MN Moose Knuckles start to begin banking some wins. His division doesn’t look very good, and he might have lucked into a situation in which he doesn’t get last place.

Right now, odds might be higher that the Shepherd Goods Choppers (11) get last place than Cooper, because that MLB team looks like a farce so far.

If $traight Cash Homie (12) has a competent season, he should be able to catch Dye, though a 9-point gap is too much to overcome. Jack would need to get 3rd in MLB to pass Dye, so $traight Cash Homie is a SIGNIFICANT betting favorite to be last place in the first year of the League of Leagues.

Current Projected Standings (with MLB):

  1. Win’s Up Doc (33 points)

  2. Sporty Strauss (30 points)

  3. The BamO’s (23 points)

  4. The Pullies (22 points)

  5. Wait ‘Til Next Year (22 points)

  6. DTC Porkchop Express (21 points)

  7. Las Cabras (20 points)

  8. MN Moose Knuckles (19 points)

  9. Ornery Otters (17 points)

  10. Cooper Troopers (15 points)

11- Cooper Troopers (NFL - 6 POINTS) – (NBA - 11th)

Tier 3
12- $traight Cash Homie (NFL - 4 POINTS) – (NBA - 12th)

Current Projected Standings (NFL & NBA):

  1. Sporty Strauss (24 points)

  2. DTC Porkchop Express (20 points)

  3. Las Cabras (18 points)

  4. Win’s Up Doc (18 points)

  5. The BamO’s (14 points)

  6. Wait ‘Til Next Year (13 points)

  7. Ornery Otters (13 points)

  8. Shepherd Goods Choppers (12 points)

  9. MN Moose Knuckles (11 points)

  10. The Pullies (10 points)

  11. Cooper Troopers (8 points)

  12. $traight Cash Homie (4 points)

(Tier 1) Sporty Strauss (1) is still the team to beat, but other teams are closing in. Everything really comes down to the likely matchup between DTC Porkchop Express (3) and Sporty Strauss in round one of the playoffs. If DTC can with that game, they put themselves in range to come from behind and catch Sporty Strauss down the last MLB leg. If Sporty Strauss wins that matchup, he comes pretty damn close to winning the league.

The only other team that could potentially make a run is Las Cabras (2) who have done an excellent job staying in the thick of the NBA playoff race. In fact, they are projected to win a HUGE matchup against the MN Moose Knuckles right now. If that happens, they’d be in the playoffs facing off against Wait ‘Til Next Year’s Anthony Davis-less squad. If Las Cabras make the playoffs, they’ll be within reach of Sporty Strauss come MLB time.

Right now, these top-3 teams look like the surest bets to cash out in the league’s first year.

(Tier 2) Win’s Up Doc (4) is slowly realizing that anything besides winning NBA doesn’t guarantee him much. His NFL team only scored 3 points, so he really needs to win before going all-in for baseball. Doc is still projected to win, but the gap between those top-3 Nolo’s teams looks tighter by the day.

Wait ‘Til Next Year (5) still has the benefit of $130 baseball auction budget coming his way. But it’s clear that, without Anthony Davis, his NBA team isn’t good enough to win. However, he essentially has the 3-seed locked up, which makes his route to the title game relatively easy. He’ll play the 6-seed in the first round and hope its Las Cabras. Then he’ll draw The Pullies (3) who should be closer to full strength, but aren’t as good as any of the top-3 Nolo’s teams. If he can sneak by those two matchups and finish 2nd in NBA, he’ll call that a win and has a chance to compete for the League Title in MLB.

The Ornery Otters (6) are the most confusing team in the league. Perfectly content to be average in both sports, Korey has shown no signs of willingness to make moves in either direction. He’ll draft in the middle of the league, have okay teams and maybe be better next year. The Otters’ ocean just seems rudderless right now.

The Shepherd Goods Choppers (7) and BamO’s (8), on the other hand, are forced into no-man’s land a little bit more. Considering they finished 4th and 3rd in NFL respectively, they can’t just give up on the season without giving the ‘constellation’ tournament a chance. The Choppers are ranked higher the The BamO’s, because Sam is dreadfully low on MLB assets. It could be a rough season for him in MLB.

Then there’s another pair: The Pullies (9) and the MN Moose Knuckles (10). These two teams played a legendary loser’s game in NFL, and each are currently slated to make the NBA playoffs. However, their ceilings are completely capped by poor NFL performances, even if MLB ends up better for them. The Pullies are higher because they likely have an NBA BYE, giving them a floor of 9 points in NBA. They have more MLB assets too.

The Cooper Troopers fall into a similar category as well. If they can get some decent performances from stars like 76er James Harden in the fantasy playoffs and sneak up to 4 or 5 points in the consolation tournament, Cooper has a slim chance to crawl up to 4th place with an excellent MLB season. That seems like a long shot though.

(Tier 3) $traight Cash Homie is all alone on the bottom right now. He’s the only team that has really sold his NBA assets, and he somehow has the 2nd most MLB Auction Budget, but this is a lost season after Zion Williamson’s foot injury. And that’s okay. There’s a benefit to being a clear seller. It’s just too bad he doesn’t have any NBA assets to sell, but MLB could be an entirely different story.

  9. $traight Cash Homie - 4 POINTS

  10. Win’s Up Doc - 3 POINTS

  11. MN Moose Knuckles - 2 POINTS

  12. The Pullies - 0 POINTS

Current November Season-Long Power Rankings

Tier 1
1- Sporty Strauss (NFL - 15 POINTS) – (NBA - 4th)

Tier 2
2- Las Cabras (NFL - 12 POINTS) – (NBA - 8th)
3- DTC Porkchop Express (NFL - 7 POINTS) – (NBA - 2nd)
4- Wait ’Til Next Year (NFL - 5 POINTS) – (NBA - 6th) – (MLB - 1st in assets)
5- Win’s Up Doc (NFL - 3 POINTS) – (NBA - 1st)
6- Ornery Otters (NFL - 8 POINTS) – (NBA - 7th)

Tier 3
7- Shepherd Goods Choppers (NFL - 9 POINTS) – (NBA - 12th)
8- The BamOs (NFL - 10 POINTS) – (NBA - 9th) – (MLB - last in assets)
9- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (NFL - 2 POINTS) – (NBA - 5th)
10- The Pullies (NFL - 0 POINTS) – (NBA - 3rd)
11- Cooper Troopers (NFL - 6 POINTS) – (NBA - 10th)
12- $traight Cash Homie (NFL - 4 POINTS) – (NBA - 11th)

(Tier 1) There’s a new king in town. With a crown the same shade as his logo, Sporty Strauss looks good up top. For now, he has a commanding lead over the League of Leagues as the only team in the top-5 of both sports so far and a new championship ring in football to show off.

However, things can change in a hurry, as we saw with Sporty Strauss himself. He was dead in the water a few short weeks ago, and now he’s standing tall as the last man standing in the NFL.

(Tier 2) This Tier is messy, and it’s hard to distinguish between each team right now. Las Cabras would certainly have been Tier 1 with Sporty Strauss had they been victorious, but, alas, ‘twas not to be.

DTC Porkchop Express is the only team along with Strauss to have made the NFL playoffs and are currently in the NBA playoffs. His NBA team is crushing too, and he has a legitimate chance to win it all there, so he should still feel okay about his prospects despite being scoring the least amount of points of any team in the NFL playoffs.

Wait ‘Til Next Year and Win’s Up Doc are in eerily similar situations. Kyle scored 5 points in the NFL Consolation Bracket. Doc scored 3. And each have NBA squads that were dominating but have hit the rocks in the past few weeks. Kyle gets the edge based on his extra baseball budget, but Oat’s NBA team is definitely stronger (right now).

Last in this group is a team caught completely in no-man’s land: the Ornery Otters. They scored 8 points in NFL. Not too shabby. But Korey is on the outside looking in in NBA. The Otters, more than any other team, need to have a stellar baseball draft (and season) to give himself a chance. But he’s still grouped with these other teams. He still has a legitimate shot at winning it all.

(Tier 3) Every team above has a chance to win, but it really feels dire for any team in Tier 3. The Choppers finished 4th in NFL, a solid finish for him, but his NBA squad is a sieve. He could easily move up or down these rankings.

The BamO’s follows him because Sam has the least amount of MLB assets to play with. He’s going to need to get lucky there.

Then there are the two AWFUL NFL squads that are somehow in the NBA playoffs right now. The MN Moose Knuckles and The Pullies are locked in a loser’s battle throughout the rest of this season, but they both should be NBA playoff teams with a chance to maybe sneak in to place 4th or 3rd with an excellent MLB run.

The Cooper Troopers might have evaded the last-place penalty by winning the NFL Consolation Bracket. He’ll have the chance to do the same in NBA as well. If he makes the Consolation Championship in NBA, there’s a very slim chance he could sneak up to the top of the league with a dynamic MLB season.

And last, but certainly least, is $traight Cash Homies. 4 points in NFL. A bad NBA team. But perhaps some MLB assets to climb out of the gutter. Jack is still the most likely team to finish last right now. It might come down to who pays attention more in baseball: Coop or Jack.

No matter what, we still have a WILD ride ahead of us. We are only ⅓ of the way through the year in the League of Leagues. We’re just getting started.

Current Projected Standings:

  1. Sporty Strauss (24 points)

  2. Win’s Up Doc (18 points)

  3. DTC Porkchop Express (18 points)

  4. Las Cabras (17 points)

  5. The BamO’s (14 points)

  6. Ornery Otters (14 points)

  7. Wait ‘Til Next Year (12 points)

  8. The Pullies (10 points)

  9. MN Moose Knuckles (10 points)

  10. Shepherd Goods Choppers (9 points)

9- Shepherd Goods Choppers (NFL - 6th) – (NBA - 12th)
10- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (NFL - 12th) – (NBA - 8th)
11- $traight Cash Homie (NFL - 7th) – (NBA - 11th)
12- Cooper Troopers (NFL - 11th) – (NBA - 10th)

(Tier 1) Things have tightened up up top SIGNIFICANTLY to the point where Wait ‘Til Next Year is no longer the top-ranked team. DTC Porkchop Express’ mad dash to the playoffs, including an impressive 8-game winning streak, cements him as the favorite. But his first-round draw of Sporty Strauss and second-round draw of Las Cabras puts a damper on his prospects. If he makes it to the championship game, it’s going to be difficult, and he’ll have earned it. His NBA team is really what’s giving him the best chance to compete here.

Sporty Strauss is in a similar category to DTC Porkchop Express. These are the two teams currently in the playoffs for both sports, so they deserve the top-two spots. It’s as simple as that. So their playoff game this week holds MASSIVE season-long repercussions in the League of Leagues. Craig’s NBA team is better, so he holds the top spot.

Wait ‘Til Next Year is firmly in that same group though, but it requires projecting his baseball skill from other leagues.

Las Cabras are interesting as well. With 9 guaranteed points in Football, it’s tempting to go for broke in these other leagues. But it’s hard for them to do both without sacrificing SIGNIFICANT NFL value for players they likely won’t keep. So that’s their cost/benefit analysis. There’s no guarantee they can fix their NBA roster in what is a crowded field, and they’ll be sacrificing the future of their team to do so. But as favorites in NFL and $4000 on the line, it’s hard to decide what to do. They are in the trickiest spot.

The BamO’s have already gone all-in, and they secured the coveted BYE. However, their NBA team is floundering and baseball assets are lower than any other team. Sam looks to be in deep trouble, this year and the future without (A) an extended run in football and/or (B) some better odds in the NBA health department.

Last and certainly not least in this tier is the Ornery Otters. They got an excellent playoff draw with the SG Choppers in round 1, but the team might be falling apart with injuries to Hopkins and at the wide receivers. The NBA team is currently out of the playoffs, but still has potential. It just seems that the Otters end up in the middle of this league when it’s all said and done without a streak of luck.

(Tier 2) The November rankings had Wait ‘Til Next Year all alone in Tier 1. This month’s has The Pullies cemented as the only team in Tier 2 mostly due to a resurgent month in the NFL. But a lack of depth and COVID troubles are putting him on shaky ground in a winnable game vs the Cooper Troopers. One more win, and The Pullies could have drawn the MN Moose Knuckles and a far likelier chance to advance in the Consolation Bracket. If they lose this week, their chances of placing are nearly shot with how strong the top-7 teams are. It might be time to rebuild for the future around Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson, MN legends.

(Tier 3) It feels strange to put a team favored to win an NFL playoff game at 9th overall, but it would also be strange not to put a team that is 1-7 in NBA in Tier 3. The SG Choppers absolutely blew his chances on winning the league this year with a beyond horrible NBA draft. With the NBA regular season almost halfway over, the League is getting away from him. If he wins NFL playoff games, his odds of getting one of those top-3 NBA prospects goes down significantly. So the Choppers must proceed with caution.

The MN Moose Knuckles drew Wait ‘Til Next Year, a draw that very well could keep him out of last place (especially if The Pullies can beat the final team on this list). With an NBA team that is no better than below average, all Hall can hope for is more draft picks than he has already manufactured in trades.

$traight Cash Homie had a really solid NFL team, but drew the short stick when it came time for the playoffs. He would have had fun competing, but his NBA team is in dire straits with Zion Williamson’s never-ending injury saga and lack of support around him. So missing the playoffs was a good thing for Jack. He’s begun making moves for next season already, and more moves could be on the way if he gets creative.

Last is the lowly Cooper Troopers who are desperate to win games in NFL to avoid the last place punishment. It might work, but either way… Cooper is not putting himself in a position to succeed for next year by not making some trades for draft picks and better keepers. Expect the Cooper Troopers to be near the bottom of the standings year-after-year if that is the case.

Current Projected Standings:

  1. Win’s Up Doc (21 points)

  2. DTC Porkchop Express (20 points)

  3. Las Cabras (19 points)

  4. The BamO’s (19 points)

  5. Sporty Strauss (17 points)

  6. Wait ‘Til Next Year (15 points)

  7. Ornery Otters (15 points)

  8. The Pullies (12 points)

  9. $traight Cash Homie (8 points)

  10. Shepherd Goods Choppers (7 points)

  11. MN Moose Knuckles (5 points)

  12. Cooper Troopers (5 points)

Thankfulness Power Rankings

It’s Thanksgiving, and the League of Leagues has returned to their cozy confines to watch football (and message other general managers about big-time trades).

Every League of Leagues team has something to be thankful for. Some more than others. So without further ado, the …

Thankfulness Power Rankings

1- The Shepherd Goods Choppers are thankful for an easy schedule in football. Having the least points scored against you is a sure way to inspire jealousy amongst league members and make the playoffs.

2- MN Moose Knuckles are thankful for First Round Picks and the hope for a brighter future where the moose becomes un-knuckled next season. Maybe one day we’ll get an erect moose out here on the sprawling greens of the League of Leagues hanging out with the turkeys.

3- The Pullies are thankful for the MN Moose Knuckles being the laughingstock of the League of Leagues, taking the heat off of their pitiful football squad.

4- Wait ‘Til Next Year is thankful for The BamO’s AND the ability to trade draft budget. $130 in NBA is proving to be useful. $130 in MLB is sure to as well. With some luck this season in football, Kyle Ooms is the favorite.

5- Win’s Up Doc is thankful for #1 overall picks in the snake draft. While Justin Fields has been a disappointment fantasy-wise, he has immense dynasty promise after Matt Nagy gets fired today. The real story is Dejounte Murray being one of the very best picks in any draft to date. He, indeed, was ranked far too low. We can’t wait to see how the #1 overall snake pick in baseball turns out for Oatrick.

6- $traight Cash Homie is thankful that the Commish lambasts his trade moves, because it’s been a blessing – not a curse – for his team. Commish is officially wrong, and Jack has made some excellent moves throughout the season to put himself in a better spot.

7- The Ornery Otters are thankful for Jon Taylor, the #1 most desirable non-QB in fantasy football for the next half decade.

8- The Cooper Troopers are thankful for #Hunks, because his two hunks, Evan Mobley and Alperen Sengun, could become (literal) pillars of his NBA team for years to come.

9- Las Cabras are thankful for young wide receivers that nobody else cared about in the snake draft. Mike Williams. Deebo Samuel. Marquise Brown. Even Chase Claypool. This team hit home runs in the football draft. Wait, that’s the wrong analogy for that sport.

10- DTC Porkchop Express is thankful for deep thoughts. Nobody else thinks deeper than Craig McCall in the leagues. All he thinks about is depth, depth, and more depth. He has (by far) the deepest roster in football to date with 13 players in the top-120 keepable range and a 14th not far off. His NBA team has plenty of solid depth as well.

11- The BamO’s are thankful for small forwards. Miles Bridges and Paul George have been revelations for his team. Buddy Hield has been a good depth acquisition along with later picks like Kyle Kuzma and Carmelo Anthony that have formed an excellent NBA squad with his limited resources going into the draft. Nobody knows how he did it.

12- Sporty Strauss is thankful for Wisconsin sports. Packers are good. Bucks won the title. But his fantasy teams are a little bit blasé only anchored a few good cheesehead state players on his team.

BUT WAIT!!! There’s more!

UNTHANKFULNESS POWER RANKINGS

Fantasy sports is about attrition more than anything else. Teams may have a lot to be thankful for, but there is another side to every coin. For each positive, there is a negative, as fantasy sports is not a zero-sum game.

1 to 4- DTC Porkchop Express, Sporty Strauss, Ornery Otters AND Win’s Up Doc are UNTHANKFUL (in the highest degree possible) for being placed in Nolo’s Division, a gauntlet of historic proportions. All teams are decent in both sports, including some of the best teams in each sport. The other two divisions are in rough shape, and Nolo’s is where teams go to die.

5- The Cooper Troopers are UNTHANKFUL for close scoring NFL contests. In one of the strangest quirks in fantasy football history, Coop is 3rd in points scored, 2nd to last in points against and is 3 games under .500. A brutal beat for Cooper’s (now-flaccid) johnson.

6- The Shepherd Goods Choppers are UNTHANKFUL for the ability of the human brain to overthink things. ‘Nuff said. (He’s also just thankful the Timberwolves are .500 and doesn’t care about much else).

7- The MN Moose Knuckles are UNTHANKFUL for Superflex football leagues. The guy who wants rosters to mirror NFL rosters hates Superflex and got burned by the roster format by not ever having a single good quarterback on his team all season.

8- The BamO’s are UNTHANKFUL for broken feet, knocking King Henry the Fifth (Metatarsal) to the curb for the rest of the season.

9- Las Cabras are UNTHANKFUL for NBA shooting guards. D’Angelo Russell. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Collin Sexton. James Bouknight. All of these players have been disappoints, but luckily they have Cole Anthony.

10- The Pullies are UNTHANKFUL for Baltimore Ravens running backs. But they’ll be right back in on them next season despite the disappointment, because there’s nothing more ‘Peter pick’ than a Ravens halfback.

11- $traight Cash Homie is UNTHANKFUL for the obesity epidemic in Louisiana.

12- Wait ‘Til Next Year is UNTHANKFUL for the inability to trade for more than $30 of MLB or NBA draft budget, or else he certainly would have

That’s it! I’m thankful for each and every one of you! I love you all, and hope you have an excellent Thanksgiving (and plz make some trades with Cooper who has one day not trapped in the Shot Show).

November Season-Long Power Rankings

Note: Every month, something like this will get posted about what the CURRENT Power Rankings are. These will sure to change every week, but not as drastically as an in-season Power Rankings. The NFL and NBA numerical ranking, is the POWER RANKING of each respective sport.

Current November Power Rankings

Tier 1
1- Wait ’Til Next Year (NFL - 9th) – (NBA - 1st) – (MLB - 1st in draft assets)

Tier 2
2- The BamOs (NFL - 5th) – (NBA - 5th)
3- DTC Porkchop Express (NFL - 4th) – (NBA - 4th) – (MLB - last in draft assets)
4- Win’s Up Doc (NFL - 10th) – (NBA - 2nd)
5- Shepherd Goods Choppers (NFL - 1st) – (NBA - 10th)
6- Las Cabras (NFL - 2nd) – (NBA - 9th)
7- Sporty Strauss (NFL - 3rd) – (NBA - 7th)
8- Ornery Otters (NFL - 7th) – (NBA - 8th)

Tier 3
9- The Pullies (NFL - 11th) – (NBA - 3rd)
10- Cooper Troopers (NFL - 8th) – (NBA - 11th)
11- $traight Cash Homie (NFL - 6th) – (NBA - 12th)
12- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (NFL - 12th) – (NBA - 6th)

(Tier 1) Wait ‘Til Next Year is still the top-ranked team with a bullet right now in the League of Leagues, but there’s still a long way to go – even in football. Wait ‘Til Next Year has the easiest schedule remaining with games against The Pullies and MN Moose Knuckles over the next two weeks. These matchups are massive towards the season-prognosis of Kyle’s team. If he can, at the very least, get a BYE in NFL consolation, he guarantees himself at least 3 points in football. The surest way for him to lose throughout the whole is to get rocked in the NFL playoffs

(Tier 2) The BamOs and DTC Porkchop Express are in very similar positions. They are ranked highly in both NFL and NBA, but are short on MLB assets. Sam has slightly more in baseball, so he gets the edge, but whoever finishes higher in the NFL playoffs gets the strong edge between these teams season-long.

There are a lot of teams in this second tier, and the next collection of teams are ELITE at one sport and terrible in the other. Win’s Up Doc is the inverse of the next three teams – great in NBA and horrible in football. But that could all change with Cam Newton. Justin Fields and Cam could be a great late-season QB pairing that might get Win’s Up Doc to the top of the NFL consolation totem pole. If so, Win’s Up Doc’s NBA team is on a tear. If Oat could make the playoffs in football or win the consolation bracket, he skyrockets to the top of the season-long Power Rankings as long as his NBA team remains competitive.

SG Choppers are 5th here. Dye’s team tops this group, because his division is generally weaker than other teams. The BamOs and The Pullies have a little bit of fool’s gold in NBA, and the Choppers could climb back into the playoff race with a savvy move or two. It’s also the weakest division in football, so Dye should be able to get that BYE.

It’s the same book for Las Cabras. Good/great NFL squad. Bad luck so far in NBA. Top-to-bottom, Las Cabras probably have the best NFL roster, but one wonders if they’d be better served spreading that wealth to the other sports. Football is notoriously fickle and unpredictable, while basketball is much more projectable year-to-year.

It’s also the exact same situation with Sporty Strauss. But his NFL team looks to be on shakier ground, and his NBA team is plummeting without Ben Simmons and some other injured players. Strauss can probably hang tight and hope for the best more than these other teams, but they are on the outside looking in right now.

The Ornery Otters round out Tier 2 with a situation that resembles The BamOs and DTC Porkchop Express. His teams are just lower-ranked and in far dicier territory. Right now, both of his teams are on the outside of the playoffs in both the standings and the power rankings, and he won’t be able to place this season if that’s the case (unless his baseball team goes supernova). But a few wins in either sport to give him a chance at the playoffs would be huge for his prospects, keeping him firmly in Tier 2 not far from the polar extreme teams.

(Tier 3) The Pullies could theoretically be in Tier 2, but the NFL squad is just too weak. They’ll have to consistently overperform in the playoffs to get a few points here and there to support their stellar NBA squad. They’ll also need to come to play in baseball to have a shot at some money. All that being said, The Pullies still weird a large gap above the teams below them on this list.

The Cooper Troopers definitely deserve a bottom-of-the-league ranking, but there is still potential in both of his teams. It’s not much potential, but I don’t think these are rosters bereft of talent. Damian Lillard is simply killing the Cooper Troopers in the NBA, and if he gets back on track, I could see a late-season run from Coop, even in the playoffs.

The bottom two teams, $traight Cash Homie and MN Moose Knuckles have a shot in one sport, but the CLEAR WORST ROSTER in another sport. $traight Cash Homie has a chance in football, but his basketball team is very poorly assembled. Zion isn’t just going to fix everything. Coming in last is the MN Moose Knuckles, who made the only big trade for 2022 at this point. His NBA squad could still compete, but his NFL team will tank his chances for anything this season.

Current Projected Standings (points at current standings):

  1. Win’s Up Doc (18 points)

  2. Shepherd Goods Choppers (17 points)

  3. The BamOs (17 points)

  4. Las Cabras (16 points)

  5. Sporty Strauss (16 points)

  6. DTC Porkchop Express (15 points)

  7. Wait ‘Til Next Year (13 points)

  8. The Pullies (12 points)

  9. MN Moose Knuckles (12 points)

  10. Ornery Otters (11 points)

  11. Cooper Troopers (9 points)

  12. $traight Cash Homie (7 points)
