November Season-Long Power Rankings

Note: Every month, something like this will get posted about what the CURRENT Power Rankings are. These will sure to change every week, but not as drastically as an in-season Power Rankings. The NFL and NBA numerical ranking, is the POWER RANKING of each respective sport.

(Tier 1) Wait ‘Til Next Year is still the top-ranked team with a bullet right now in the League of Leagues, but there’s still a long way to go – even in football. Wait ‘Til Next Year has the easiest schedule remaining with games against The Pullies and MN Moose Knuckles over the next two weeks. These matchups are massive towards the season-prognosis of Kyle’s team. If he can, at the very least, get a BYE in NFL consolation, he guarantees himself at least 3 points in football. The surest way for him to lose throughout the whole is to get rocked in the NFL playoffs

(Tier 2) The BamOs and DTC Porkchop Express are in very similar positions. They are ranked highly in both NFL and NBA, but are short on MLB assets. Sam has slightly more in baseball, so he gets the edge, but whoever finishes higher in the NFL playoffs gets the strong edge between these teams season-long.

There are a lot of teams in this second tier, and the next collection of teams are ELITE at one sport and terrible in the other. Win’s Up Doc is the inverse of the next three teams – great in NBA and horrible in football. But that could all change with Cam Newton. Justin Fields and Cam could be a great late-season QB pairing that might get Win’s Up Doc to the top of the NFL consolation totem pole. If so, Win’s Up Doc’s NBA team is on a tear. If Oat could make the playoffs in football or win the consolation bracket, he skyrockets to the top of the season-long Power Rankings as long as his NBA team remains competitive.

SG Choppers are 5th here. Dye’s team tops this group, because his division is generally weaker than other teams. The BamOs and The Pullies have a little bit of fool’s gold in NBA, and the Choppers could climb back into the playoff race with a savvy move or two. It’s also the weakest division in football, so Dye should be able to get that BYE.

It’s the same book for Las Cabras. Good/great NFL squad. Bad luck so far in NBA. Top-to-bottom, Las Cabras probably have the best NFL roster, but one wonders if they’d be better served spreading that wealth to the other sports. Football is notoriously fickle and unpredictable, while basketball is much more projectable year-to-year.

It’s also the exact same situation with Sporty Strauss. But his NFL team looks to be on shakier ground, and his NBA team is plummeting without Ben Simmons and some other injured players. Strauss can probably hang tight and hope for the best more than these other teams, but they are on the outside looking in right now.

The Ornery Otters round out Tier 2 with a situation that resembles The BamOs and DTC Porkchop Express. His teams are just lower-ranked and in far dicier territory. Right now, both of his teams are on the outside of the playoffs in both the standings and the power rankings, and he won’t be able to place this season if that’s the case (unless his baseball team goes supernova). But a few wins in either sport to give him a chance at the playoffs would be huge for his prospects, keeping him firmly in Tier 2 not far from the polar extreme teams.

(Tier 3) The Pullies could theoretically be in Tier 2, but the NFL squad is just too weak. They’ll have to consistently overperform in the playoffs to get a few points here and there to support their stellar NBA squad. They’ll also need to come to play in baseball to have a shot at some money. All that being said, The Pullies still weird a large gap above the teams below them on this list.

The Cooper Troopers definitely deserve a bottom-of-the-league ranking, but there is still potential in both of his teams. It’s not much potential, but I don’t think these are rosters bereft of talent. Damian Lillard is simply killing the Cooper Troopers in the NBA, and if he gets back on track, I could see a late-season run from Coop, even in the playoffs.

The bottom two teams, $traight Cash Homie and MN Moose Knuckles have a shot in one sport, but the CLEAR WORST ROSTER in another sport. $traight Cash Homie has a chance in football, but his basketball team is very poorly assembled. Zion isn’t just going to fix everything. Coming in last is the MN Moose Knuckles, who made the only big trade for 2022 at this point. His NBA squad could still compete, but his NFL team will tank his chances for anything this season.

Current Projected Standings (points at current standings):

  1. Win’s Up Doc (18 points)

  2. Shepherd Goods Choppers (17 points)

  3. The BamOs (17 points)

  4. Las Cabras (16 points)

  5. Sporty Strauss (16 points)

  6. DTC Porkchop Express (15 points)

  7. Wait ‘Til Next Year (13 points)

  8. The Pullies (12 points)

  9. MN Moose Knuckles (12 points)

  10. Ornery Otters (11 points)

  11. Cooper Troopers (9 points)

  12. $traight Cash Homie (7 points)
