DTC Porkchop Express trade grade: A
Sporty Strauss trade grade: B

Trade Summary:
Finally, Sporty Strauss joins the action!! It’s been long-awaited (and much necessary) and DTC Porkchop Express was auctioning his best players off between the two #Nolo’sDivision titans. Sporty Strauss comes out on top, and it’s a good move for him.

Charlie Blackmon slides in as a 7th-10th bat in the order, a pretty important piece for a team that needs an extra bat or two. And Gonsolin and Wainwright are both 20ppg pitchers thus far this season, easily good for SP2 and SP3 on Sporty Strauss’ roster. This was a move that needed to happen, and Sporty Strauss pays a price for it.

It isn’t a huge price, bear in mind, but that NFL pick is likely towards the end of the middle of the round – the PERFECT place for DTC Porkchop Express to take a tight end or another quarterback. With 3 picks in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft (thus far), Craig is setting himself up PERFECTLY to go full dynasty next season. All of these players will be kept. It allows him to reach for players like Malik Willis, the backup to his current QB1, Tannehill, despite the fact that he might not ever start. He can take risks. He can take safe players and trade them later. He can do whatever he wants in NFL now, and he’s in great shape in the future.

Plus……. he’s the favorite to lose MLB right now, and he could very well sneak into the bottom 3 Strauss picks. But watch out. He’s in slight danger of doing the last-place penalty if things break right for Jack.
