Trade Summary:
The Cooper Troopers continue to focus on this season. Tom Brady will almost assuredly retire following the season, so he’s a win-now player as ever. But Davante Adams is the key piece in this equation. After a monster week 1, it’s clear he isn’t slowing down. With multiple good seasons left, Adams joins what might become the greatest receiving corps ever put together in fantasy football.

WR1 - Cooper Kupp
WR2 - Davante Adams
WR3 - Rashod Bateman
WR4 - Amon-Ra St. Brown
WR5 - Amari Cooper (waiting until Penis Watson return)

Add that to a team that still has 3 good RBs (Swift, Edmonds, Penny), and you’ve got a recipe for a title contender.

On the other side for Sporty Strauss, this is the type of trade you can make when you have a League of League win in your back pocket. He gets SOMETHING for Tom Brady who has limited value at this point. And he capitalizes on Davante Adams. Getting a top-10 QB like Dak Prescott who is still young enough for a discount is a very smart long-term move, but there’s little doubt this hurts Sporty Strauss in the short-term. He would have been 4th on the power rankings prior to this deal, but now he slips down towards the bottom of the league.

The sneaky valuable asset acquired here is the NBA 2nd rounder next season. That is a pick when NBA is going full dynasty that could pay off big time for Sporty Strauss. But right now, this hurts.
