Trade Summary:
The arms race (and the tanking race) continue! But Ekeler is a better sell-high candidate than a buy candidate. He’s already 27 years old, the age where RBs start to die. And watching the game right now, he’s not even playing much. Sony Michel is vulturing goal line carries.

But Ekeler is the best weapon on one of the league’s best offenses, and there are lots of great days ahead. It’s a slight desperation move, however, as Cam Akers looks to be a complete non-factor for Wait ‘Til Next Year. This move keeps Kyle firmly in the playoff race and gives him more of a chance this week against DTC Porkchop Express.

But Win’s Up Doc’s tanking enterprise is potentially the bigger talk of this deal. It’s a good time to sell Ekeler, but it certainly hurts him right now. He plays The Pullies this week, and this trade could somehow give The Pullies a 2-0 start while Doc goes down to 0-2.

It is fascinating to see the two teams that dueled hard for first place last season as the first ones to tank. They are taking their $$ to the bank and reloading for another shot next season. Now time to see who takes last in NFL, Sporty Strauss or Win’s Up Doc.
