Cooper Toopers for 7th Round MLB Pick

SG Choppers trade grade: B
Cooper Troopers trade grade: B+

Trade Summary:
A mutually beneficial trade for two teams about to see each other twice within a 3-week span! The Cooper Troopers add some much-needed depth to a team that needs it after a DEVASTATING injury to Walker Buehler. The Choppers had already traded away most of its starting rotation, however, so the Cooper Troopers needed to settle for a (good) backup catcher (Alejandro Kirk), a superutility hitter who has been lights out this year (Profar), and up-and-coming starting pitcher (Ashcraft) and another (MUCH-NEEDED) relief pitcher (Houck).

That’s a good return for a 7th Round MLB pick, especially after the Choppers probably swindled the Cooper Troopers in the Clay Holmes trade. Both of these trades combined are very fair, and the Cooper Troopers have to feel grateful for the extra assets in a season of life in which he doesn’t have much time to do the research.

The Cooper Troopers are 6-3 right now. With two victories against the SG Choppers in the next three weeks, the Troopers should be good enough to secure a playoff spot which will firmly prevent him from getting last place. Hopefully, it isn’t too much to prevent him from getting a top-3 NBA slut, but there are other options for the Cooper Troopers if that comes to pass.
