(Tier 1) Only ONE is left undefeated. Only one remains. Sporty Strauss has taken this league by the nuts, and isn’t letting this week. Strauss gets lowly Pullies, before the MATCHUP OF THE YEAR in week 8. He’ll have a bye week after that (vs the Moose Knuckles) before another showdown huge showdown, this time against Jordan. Strauss is done with the middle of the league until division play restarts. It’s either top boyz or cellar dwellers.

Things are finally getting tight up top, and Las Cabras dropped their first season to DTC Porkchop Express. This gives Trev/Jordan the same record as the Shepherd Goods Choppers, who look solid despite CMC’s injury. Las Cabras have injuries and BYES of their own, and this week is shaping up to be a raucous one.

(Tier 2) $traight Cash Homie keeps pulling out dubs, but nobody is going to give him too much credit for beating the Moose Knuckles. It’s still huge for him to win games in which his QBs, Lamar and Darnold, underperform.

And poor Cooper Troopers. A last second Derrick Henry rush puts Coop on ice and gives BamO another lucky win. Coop has two absolutely brutal losses on MNF. Still, he is 3rd lowest in points against. He has had every opportunity to be better than 2-4, and management isn’t holding its weight.

(Tier 3) The Pullies are victorious!!! A winless season is no more, as Pete and Eric get a respite for a week. The Pullies squad is far from a disaster, and it has a chance to improve. But squaring off against Sporty Strauss this week is poor medicine.

DTC Porkchop Express is firmly putting itself into contention. With a win against a great team like Las Cabras, Craig is starting to get noticed. It’s a team built to withstand BYE weeks, and McCall is ready to start shocking the world with a mid-season run. Moose Knuckles is next on slate before Jack. Then it’s Pullies and Wait ‘Til Next Year before Craig has a few tough games in weeks 11 and 12. With a 2-4 record, DTC Porkchop Express needs to go 5-3 the rest of the way to give himself a shot. If you give him wins against the Tier 3 teams he plays, that’d put him at that 8-8 minimum record needed for the playoffs.

Wait ‘Til Next Year lost and the league is rejoicing. But they need more than losses to Strauss. Kyle needs to lose some games to bad teams for others to avoid him getting a coveted Consolation BYE. This week, we get that. The Ornery Otters need to take care of business this week, or they are probably toast. Wait ‘Til Next Year doesn’t have any of his 3 players that he spent auction budget on, however, so it should be an easy game for Koob to win. The dynamic of teams fighting to get into the last one or two playoff spots should come into clear focus after this week.

Yikes, Win’s Up Doc. We thought Kyle’s week was bad, but this is on another level. The Shepherd Goods Choppers ran a lap around Doc, who scored a measly 63 points out of all his position players. The one-QB thing is crushing him, and he doesn’t have the receiver depth to boost his squad. He is officially the bottom boy, though The Pullies and MN Moose Knuckles aren’t that far ahead of him.

Week 6 High Score

  • Shepherd Goods Choppers (Jordan)

  • 158 points

Notes: Jordan is fighting his way through injuries to victories. This win should be one of the highest point differentials all season.

Week 6 Low Score

  • Win’s Up Doc (Pat)

  • 68 points

Notes: Hey, if you’re team is gonna suck. They might as well all suck on the same week. Oat needs to get some better players in his lineups soon, but there might be a little bit of white flag wagging as the season goes along. He may be the first.

Week 6 MVP

  • Derrick Henry

  • The BamOs (Sam)

  • 37 points

Notes: Easy choice for MVP this week. Not only is 36.6 pts absurd, but it literally won Sam the week on Monday Night Football. Coop is still heartbroken.

Week 5 LVP(s)

  • Myles Gaskin

  • Cooper Troopers (Cooper Johnson)

  • 1.4 points

Notes: A roller coaster for Coop. If he starts Gaskin, his game tanks. If he sits him, Gaskin goes off. One more point from Gaskin and Coop wins this game, and 1.4 just isn’t going to cut it.
