Note: The ‘points’ next to the team are an aggregate ranking of each team’s starting positions. If you have the best position group in the league, you get 12 ‘points.’ If you’re the worst, you get 1. Because TE isn’t as valuable, only the top-6 TE teams were ranked and given points 6-1. These points are only a guideline, however.

Tier 1

1- The Golden Hours

The Golden Hours is the only team with two top-10 QBs this season – that’s enough for the top spot in the rankings. On top of that, they have the RB2 and two other RBs in the top-30. Add two top-15 TEs and five wideouts who can interchange depending on the week, and you’ve got a great recipe for success.

The major flaw with this team, however, is the reliance on two teams that most bettors and prognosticators are down on this season – the Cowboys and the Cardinals. Not only does GM Connor Piché have the QB of both teams, but he has other players too. Pairing with Kyler, he has Hollywood Brown AND DeAndre Hopkins, so a bad Cards week could doom him. Same goes for the Cowboys where he has Dak, Zeke and Gallup (unlisted). It’s going to be difficult to overcome any bad games from any of those players, particularly the QBs.

QBs

  • Kyler Murray (QB6)

  • Dak Prescott (QB10)

RBs

  • Christian McCaffrey (RB2)

  • Ezekiel Elliott (RB16)

  • Damien Harris (RB29)

WRs

  • Marquise Brown (WR23)

  • Gabriel Davis (WR24)

  • Jerry Jeudy (WR26)

  • Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR28)

  • DeAndre Hopkins (WR43)

TEs

  • Pat Freiermuth (TE12)

  • Irv Smith Jr. (TE14)

2- Slutski on Turf

Slutski on Turf is by far the deepest team in the league. Four starting QBs (top-24). Five wideouts in the top-35. Two TEs in the top-4. The major hole is running back right now. It is still to be determined what kind of role Javonte Williams has for the Broncos this season, and he’s clearly Slutki’s X-Factor. Gibson and Sanders are poor options at RB2 as well, but GM Jimmy RamRod is just hoping one of them is startable every week.

This season breaks wrong for Slutski on Turf if he simply doesn’t end up with any elite options outside of TE. There’s a strong chance Brady’s play slips, and he’s slated as Jim’s QB1. The RBs could all be subpar and so could the receivers. But the saving grace is that sweet 1PPR TE advantage that he will have every week.

QBs

  • Tom Brady (QB9)

  • Kirk Cousins (QB14)

  • Justin Fields (QB16)

  • Jared Goff (QB24)

RBs

  • Javonte Williams (RB14)

  • Antonio Gibson (RB27)

  • Miles Sanders (RB34)

  • Darrell Henderson (RB38)

WRs

  • Courtland Sutton (WR15)

  • Terry McLaurin (WR17)

  • Darnell Mooney (WR25)

  • Chris Godwin (WR29)

  • Brandon Aiyuk (WR35)

TEs

  • Mark Andrews (TE2)

  • George Kittle (TE4)

TIER 2

3- Viking Kings

The Viking Kings are set to compete in one of the toughest divisions of all time – the CumDawg Division. GM Nick Kruse looks to defend his championship against division mates that are hungry to tear him down. The way this team falls apart is simple – running back. JK Dobbins might never regain his form after his horrific injury, and David Montgomery might be stuck on the worst offense in football. James Cook is the only insurance behind that.

On the flip side, that is still a running back room that has a lot of upside. If two of those players hit, this could be a championship team. He has two top-8 WRs and another WR2 on the squad in Robinson. Waller and Ertz forms an excellent vet TE room, and there is a lot of potential with all 3 QBs (including Pickett) as well. This team is a step down from the top-2 teams, but it is a step up over everyone else.

QBs

  • Russell Wilson (QB8)

  • Trevor Lawrence (QB18)

  • Kenny Pickett (QB32)

RBs

  • David Montgomery (RB18)

  • JK Dobbins (RB24)

  • James Cook (RB39)

WRs

  • Cooper Kupp (WR2)

  • Mike Evans (WR8)

  • Allen Robinson II (WR21)

  • Amari Cooper (WR33)

TEs

  • Darren Waller (TE5)

  • Zach Ertz (TE9)

4- Dr. Chopper

A familiar trend is forming since the second team in the power rankings – shirking Running Back. This team went as close to zero-RB as you can muster, and the team is all the better for it. There are 3 top-20 WRs, the best TE in the game (with a great backup to boot) and a couple of up-and-coming QBs. The depth on this team isn’t necesarily there, but this is a great lineup build.

The way this season goes right for them all rests in one name – Tua Tagovailoa. With Waddle as the third wideout, this is a lot on the shoulders of Tua, a QB who has the 26th-ranked defense schedule (brutal) and has yet to really prove himself. But the weapons are there, and he should be serviceable for fantasy. If he breaks out, the sky is the limit for Dr. Chopper.

QBs

  • Jalen Hurts (QB5)

  • Tua Tagovailoa (QB17)

RBs

  • Leonard Fournette (RB12)

  • Rhamondre Stevenson (RB31)

  • Tony Pollard (RB32)

WRs

  • Michael Pittman Jr. (WR10)

  • Keenan Allen (WR13)

  • Jaylen Waddle (WR19)

  • Tyler Lockett (WR41)

TEs

  • Travis Kelce (TE1)

  • Dallas Goedert (TE7)

5- Sha Town Shorty

This team is great up top, but is the thinnest team in the league, depth-wise. Lance and Rodgers are a GREAT QB pairing in this format, but it’s only Geno Smith behind them. Kamara, Dillon and Pierce is a STELLAR RB trio, but it falls off after that. And at WR, of which you start 3, his dynamic trio of Chase, Diggs and Thielen is hard to top this season. But ANY injuries to ANY of these players and this season falls off the rails.

So how this team wins is simple: stay healthy. How it falls apart is the opposite.

QBs

  • Trey Lance (QB11)

  • Aaron Rodgers (QB13)

RBs

  • Alvin Kamara (RB9)

  • AJ Dillon (RB21)

  • Dameon Pierce (RB26)

WRs

  • Ja’Marr Chase (WR3)

  • Stefon Diggs (WR4)

  • Adam Thielen (WR34)

TEs

  • Cole Kmet (TE11)

6- Big Lunge Guy

Big Lunge Guy has two clear weaknesses that hold him back. The first is TE, which he is relying on Mike Gesicki who is begging to be traded to perform for him. The second is QB2. Baker is a fine option this season, but not having a QB3 should haunt this team more than any other. Expect GM Collin Kruse to be plugging in WRs and RBs into his Superflex more than any other squad, which might be fine. He has excellent depth all over the roster. Five RBs who are no worse than an RB3 (top-36). Three top-16 wideouts with a good 4th option.

This team succeeds by winning over the long haul. By taking advantage of its depth and the best fantasy player on the planet (Josh Allen) to sneak out wins throughout the season and make the playoffs.

QBs

  • Josh Allen (QB1)

  • Baker Mayfield (QB26)

RBs

  • Joe Mixon (RB6)

  • Elijah Mitchell (RB22)

  • Josh Jacobs (RB23)

  • Kareem Hunt (RB33)

  • Cordarrelle Patterson (RB36)

WRs

  • Tyreek Hill (WR9)

  • Tee Higgins (WR12)

  • Mike Williams (WR16)

  • Devonta Smith (WR36)

TEs

  • Mike Gesicki (TE17)

TIER 3

7- Edible Sunday

Edible Sunday has one of the most unique roster builds out there. He has an absolutely STELLAR RB room with three arguable RB1s. But these are the worst wideouts in the league by far. After the Fields trade, Chris Olave is his clear X-Factor. If he becomes even a WR3, this team could win it all just based on the strength at RB.

But, as a common refrain, health will certainly dictate the floor of this team. JuJu is already banged up. Cook is a walking band-aid. Even Hockenson has injury concerns. The depth outside of RB isn’t there, so GM Alex Zappa is playing with fire. But he likes living on the edge, and he’s looking forward to proving everyone wrong.

QBs

  • Patrick Mahomes (QB3)

  • Carson Wentz (QB25)

RBs

  • Dalvin Cook (RB4)

  • Saquon Barkley (RB10)

  • Nick Chubb (RB13)

  • Devin Singletary (RB35)

WRs

  • DK Metcalf (WR22)

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR31)

  • Chris Olave (WR45)

  • Chase Claypool (WR47)

TEs

  • TJ Hockenson (TE8)

8- Kyle’s Pitts

This is a better long-term build than a short-term, though the QB position might disagree. The issue here is just QBs. Carr is an acceptable QB1 taken in a good spot on the draft board. Tannehill and Wilson, on the other hand, are scary options as backups. But that’s why GM Kyle Oooms selected Marcus Mariota. He can play with these QBs and try to mix and match to a good record.

And he could definitely achieve a good record. His RB room is fantastic with 3 clear starting options every single week. But there are some questions at receiver. AJ Brown has a new QB throwing to him who doesn’t match his skillset. Diontae is banged up with another new QB. Michael Thomas’ injury history is well-stated. Treylon Burks’ training camp has been a confusing story.

But all of this is supplanted by Kyle Pitts, one of the best options for any team in #2Kickerz dynasty. If Pitts’ full PPR output is stellar, that’s how Kyle makes the playoffs and contends.

QBs

  • Derek Carr (QB15)

  • Ryan Tannehill (QB21)

  • Zach Wilson (QB27)

  • Marcus Mariota (QB29)

RBs

  • Austin Ekeler (RB3)

  • D’Andre Swift (RB8)

  • Chase Edmonds (RB25)

WRs

  • AJ Brown (WR11)

  • Diontae Johnson (WR18)

  • Michael Thomas (WR30)

  • Treylon Burks (WR46)

TEs

  • Kyle Pitts (TE3)

  • David Njoku (TE15)

9- Evil Natured Robots

The Evil Natured Robots were the only team to come out of the auction with 3 players, but what a trio! Lamar could go bananas this season with an improved un-injured Ravens roster. JT is the clear top dynasty running back. And Davante Adams was a league-winner last season. That’s enough top talent to contend no matter what the rest of the roster is, and the rest of the team isn’t bad!

The case against this team is the Davis Mills factor. At QB2, Davis Mills is the X-Factor for GM Bob VG. Mills really needs to produce every week for the Evil Natured Robots to succeed, because the depth is pretty poor. Jacoby Brissett could be seeing a lot of time for this team. The TEs are a huge concern as well, but there are enough bodies there to piece that together. But altogether, this is a team that desperately needs someone to step up or else they might fall into the middle-tier of the league.

QBs

  • Lamar Jackson (QB4)

  • Davis Mills (QB28)

RBs

  • Jonathan Taylor (RB1)

  • Aaron Jones (RB11)

  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB28)

WRs

  • Davante Adams (WR5)

  • Rashod Bateman (WR27)

  • Christian Kirk (WR39)

  • Skyy Moore (WR50)

TEs

  • Albert Okwuegbunam (TE16)

  • Robert Tonyan (TE19)

10- MN Direwolves

The Direwolves have some elite talent but also lack depth. Winston is a solid QB2 behind Burrow just as Conner, Henry and Penny form a solid RB room. The top-2 WRs are fantastic as well with Lazard and Woods providing depth at WR3 and 4. This team should never be terrible, and the way it wins is simple – the monster year from Justin Jefferson that everyone is projecting (or another one from Derrick Henry)

Outside of injury, the floor for this team is still relatively high, and they should be ranked a little bit higher. But that says more about the bottom-two teams on this list than anything else. Any of the top-10 teams can make the playoffs. The Direwolves just have the least upside.

QBs

  • Joe Burrow (QB7)

  • Jameis Winston (QB19)

RBs

  • Derrick Henry (RB5)

  • James Conner (RB15)

  • Rashaad Penny (RB30)

WRs

  • Justin Jefferson (WR1)

  • DJ Moore (WR14)

  • Allan Lazard (WR37)

  • Robert Woods (WR42)

TEs

  • Dawson Knox (TE10)

TIER 4

11- Moose Knuckle Express

The Moose Knuckle Express is a disaster, but it’s a beautiful disaster. Outside of QB, there is so much potential on this team. Najee, Breece and Kenneth Walker could be the best RB trio NEXT SEASON, but this season is very TBD there. Lamb and London could be another stellar young WR pairing too. But this team needs to figure out its long-term QB plan, and that likely comes by tanking for Stroud or Young.

This team could still not be terrible though. The recipe for that is simple – another huge Stafford year, improvements from Matt Ryan and a number of young players stepping up. Look for this team to get better as the year goes along.

QBs

  • Matthew Stafford (QB12)

  • Matt Ryan (QB20)

  • Mitch Trubisky (QB30)

RBs

  • Najee Harris (RB7)

  • Breece Hall (RB19)

  • Melvin Gordon (RB37)

  • Michael Carter (RB40)

  • Kenneth Walker III (RB41)

WRs

  • CeeDee Lamb (WR6)

  • Brandin Cooks (WR20)

  • Drake London (WR40)

TEs

  • Dalton Schultz (TE6)

12- Blood, Sweat, and Beers

And then there was one. One team left. One team at the bottom of the rankings. It’s strange too, because Justin Herbert is one of the best players in all of fantasy, but this team is still the clear worst team in the league. But that’s okay! This team is built for the future with Deshaun Watson back for all of next season, two other young QBs, two young RBs and WRs with lots of potential going forward.

This team is a clear Bijan Robinson landing spot in the draft or to take an absolute HAUL for Stroud or Young from a QB-needy team later in the draft. GM Cole Sweeney should get a top-2 pick and next year is the year to start building. Next year, there’s no reason why Blood, Sweat and Beers can’t win it all. Tanking for the future is a market inefficiency with so many teams trying to win this year, and Cole’s plan looks very smart right now.

QBs

  • Justin Herbert (QB2)

  • Mac Jones (QB23)

  • Deshaun Watson (QB31)

RBs

  • Travis Etienne Jr. (RB17)

  • Cam Akers (RB20)

WRs

  • Deebo Samuel (RB7)

  • Elijah Moore (WR32)

  • Hunter Renfrow (WR38)

  • Tyler Boyd WR48)

TEs

  • Noah Fant (TE20)
