NFL Week 8 Preview

This week has some crooked game lines. The worst of the year so far. Expect some blowouts, maybe even some that are surprising. In fact, the hapless Pullies might catch their first win in the League of Leagues.

Week 8 Game Lines

  • Sporty Strauss (1) -5 OVER vs Las Cabras (2)

  • Shepherd Goods Choppers (3) -33 OVER vs Wait ’Til Next Year (9)

  • The BamOs (4) +16 AGAINST vs MN Moose Knuckles (11)

  • Cooper Troopers (5) -4 OVER vs Ornery Otters (8)

  • $traight Cash Homie (6) -4 OVER vs DTC Porkchop Express (8)

  • The Pullies (10) -5 OVER vs Win’s Up Doc (12)

Ignore everything besides that top matchup. The top two teams playing each other is appointment viewing, and these dogs have circled each other all season waiting for this.

The other important games are Cooper Troopers vs Ornery Otters and $traight Cash Homie vs DTC Porkchop Express, each of which will be huge for playoff positioning. Getting that Head-to-Head over opponents is key towards the end of season playoff jockeying.

Week 8 Matchup of the Week
Sporty Strauss (1) -5 OVER vs Las Cabras (2)

QB1 – Tom Brady (@NO) vs KYLER MURRAY (7pts)
QB2 – Trevor Lawrence (@SEA) vs Josh Allen (MIA)

RB1 – Najee Harris (@CLE) vs Darrell Williams (NYG - MNF)
RB2 – Antonio Gibson (@DEN) vs CHASE EDMONDS (TNF)

WR1 – Brandin Cooks (@NYG) vs Deebo Samuel (@CHI)
WR2 – Tee Higgins (@NYJ) vs Mike Williams (Patriots)

TE – Kyle Pitts (CAR) vs Noah Fant (CIN)

FLEX1 – Jakobi Meyers (@LAC) vs Chase Claypool (@CLE)
FLEX2 – Kadarious Toney (@KC - MNF) vs Jovonte Williams (DEN)

D/ST – Rams (@HOU) vs Football Team (@DEN)

Sporty Strauss: Advantage at 5/10 positions
Las Cabras: Advantage at 5/10 positions

Kyler Murray’s absolute stinker puts this into question for Las Cabras, who otherwise would have had a massive edge. Chase Edmonds’ decent game gives them a starting point, but they have two less players than Sporty Strauss and only an 18.5pt lead.

It’s tough matchup season for Strauss though, who doesn’t have a no-brainer good play besides maybe Trevor Lawrence, who has little shot to out-class Josh Allen on the other side.

All said and done, this should come down to Kadarious Toney vs Darrel Williams on Monday Night Football. It’s an exciting championship-preview matchup from the top-2 teams in the league.
