Tier 2
4- DTC Porkchop Express (4-4) [+3]
5- Ornery Otters (4-4) [+3]
6- $traight Cash Homie (4-4) [-2]
7- The BamOs (5-3) [-3]
8- Cooper Troopers (3-5) [-3]

Tier 3
9- Win’s Up Doc (3-5) [+3]
10- The Pullies (2-6) [-]
11- Wait ’Til Next Year (3-5) [-2]
12- Minnesota Moose Knuckles (1-7) [-1]

(Tier 1) Sporty Strauss reclaims the top spot in a hard-fought victory over Las Cabras. But the Shepherd Goods Choppers are still breathing down Strauss’ neck. It’s officially a 3-way race to get the BYE. Strauss has the H2H over Las Cabras. Las Cabras have the H2H over the Choppers. Now we await the Choppers vs Strauss next week.

(Tier 2) The middle of the league was upended this week. DTC Porkchop Express dropped $traight Cash Homie by a point and a half, putting both teams at 4-4. The Ornery Otters, also 4-4, pulled off another big win over Coop who is 3-5. And The BamOs won, but lost stud Derrick Henry for the rest of the season.

With the top-3 teams running away with playoff spots, that leaves 3 spots for the rest of them.

(Tier 3) Win’s Up Doc had the surprise performance of the week, utterly destroying The Pullies. Doc could potentially sneak himself back into the playoffs with a few good performances down the stretch.

Wait ‘Til Next Year continues to falter, low-scoring week after low-scoring week. He needs to make a move or two if he wants to wrestle himself back into contention.

And at the bottom of the standings are our poor little Moose Knuckles, sitting at 1-9 throughout both sports this season. It’s been a tough year, and there’s little hope remaining for Chris Hall at this point. It’s time to start thinking about the future.

Week 8 High Score

  • Win’s Up Doc (Pat)

  • 166 points

Notes: A huge performance by Oatrick to put himself back in the conversation. Mike White could end up being the steal pickup of the year for Pat, and a 27.5 point performance in week 8 is the biggest reason for this crooked number.

Week 8 Low Score

  • Wait ‘ Til Next Year (Kyle)

  • 83 points

Notes: Two straight low-80’s performances from Kyle. The Shepherd fantasy-football-gods thank him.

Week 8 MVP

  • Joe Mixon

  • DTC Porkchop Express (Craig)

  • 23

Notes: Craig got everything he needed out of his team this week, overcoming a bad start from Devonta Smith. This could have been any number of his players: Aaron Jones, Ryan Tannehill, or even Geno Smith, a clutch trade for Craig. We’ll give it to the highest bad boy on his team, Joe Mixon of the Bengals.

Week 8 LVP(s)

  • Dante Pettis

  • The Pullies (Pete/Eric)

  • -1 points

Notes: This game was out of reach, but anytime a player goes negative, it should be noted. The Pullies are in a desperate spot with their roster, and had to start Pettis over guys like OBJ and their RBs on BYE. Poor Pullies.
