(Tier 1) Win’s Up Doc (1) barely escaped with a win and remains at the top of the league, much to his chagrin. Hopefully (for him), he starts getting some COVID players back on the court and regains his supremely dominant form. DTC Porkchop Express (2) has officially taken the points crown from Oat and has the MOST POINTS in the League of Leagues NBA. However, he’s still a game (and a half) behind Win’s Up Doc. A Week 18 matchup at the end of the season looms large between those two teams right now, and they might want to start investigating which of their players have four start weeks and which don’t, hoping to make some moves.

The Pullies (3) don’t move up in the rankings by their strength of victory, but by their division lead. This is one of the worst divisions people have ever seen, and The Pullies have a 3.5 game lead over the next team down. The Pullies could have a playoff spot locked up in the next few weeks if everything goes right for them, which would be absurd. It might not be the best team of all time, but The Pullies will take their luck to the bank.

Sporty Strauss (4) is #3 in points on the season, meaning that the top-3 teams are ALL #Nolo’sDivision. With a sizable lead in the football playoffs going into tonight’s Monday Night showdown, Sporty Strauss has FIRMLY established himself as the favorite to win the League of Leagues. It might even be a runaway victory if his NBA team is remotely competent. He might be able to play fast and loose with his MLB team and build all teams solely for the future if he can get a top-3 finish in NBA like his team is projecting towards right now.

Wait ‘Til Next Year (6) is on a skid. In fact, the only team with a longer losing streak than Wait ‘Til Next Year is the SG Choppers, though no real comparison should be made between these teams. What is clear is how big of a challenge the Anthony Davis injury is to this team. This was a team built on stars. The depth was okay, but it always paled in comparison to Win’s Up Doc or DTC Porkchop Express’ well-rounded rosters. Kyle has slipped to 5th in total points, not even first in his division anymore. While it’s too early to proclaim that his team is in trouble, his odds of missing the playoffs have dropped down to 1/5 and he’s staring down top teams in 3 out of the next 4 weeks. A win over the Ornery Otters makes in unlikely to miss the playoffs, but a late-season run by Las Cabras should scare him.

The Minnesota Moose Knuckles (5) round out a clear top-6 in League of Leagues NBA. Right now, ESPN projects the playoff odds lowest team amongst these six at 83%. So while no team should give up, there aren’t THAT many weeks left and Las Cabras or the Ornery Otters need to make up ground quick. This was the week that firmly solidified who the playoff teams were and who is on the outside looking in.

(Tier 2) Las Cabras (8) might be about to lose to Strauss in the NFL portion of the League of Leagues barring a miracle performance from Jarvis Landry/Claypool, garnering 12 points from that leg. Las Cabras needed an NFL victory more than perhaps ANY other team in the League of Leagues, and losing to a good NBA team like Sporty Strauss has to hurt. However, their NBA is showing signs of life with a big victory of The BamO’s. While the playoffs might be a long shot, a Consolation BYE is no small thing, raising the floor of their season-long performance. This fantasy season will likely be decided by Las Cabras’ baseball prowess.

The Ornery Otters (7) got slammed with the COVID attack this week. It’s poor timing. They need wins to stay afloat. That’s a similar story with The BamO’s who were banged up and couldn’t get enough plays in. These teams are deep on the outside looking in, and every loss is another nail in a sad coffin.

(Tier 3) The Cooper Troopers (10) are the most disappointing team of the week. If they had paid attention to their plays, they would have beaten the top team in the league and given themselves a legitimate chance to push for a last-minute playoff berth. However, the upcoming schedule is likely too tough for that. In 6 consecutive weeks, including the last two weeks, the Cooper Troopers play the top-4 teams in the Power Rankings. They could have had 2 wins already in that group by taking advantage of COVID issues, but that advantage is gone. Next up is Sporty Strauss in a game that is probably a death knell if Coop loses.

Lastly, are the Shepherd Goods (12) and $traight Cash Homie (11) even in the league anymore? Nobody is sure, as these teams can’t catch a win to save their lives.

Week 11 High Score

  • MN Moose Knuckles (Hall)

  • 1519

Notes: The MN Moose Knuckles have been VERY impressive as of late. After a very tough week 1 loss to the Cooper Troopers, there isn’t really a bad loss on the schedule. It’s a rare team that’s taking care of business where it should. It’s a team that is largely past its COVID outbreaks though there’s always going to be a straggler here or there. The Moose Knuckles just have a fascinating choice ahead of them with only 2 points in NFL – (1) try to compete HARD in NBA and MLB to place 3rd or 4th in the league or (2) get enough wins in NBA to hedge and start selling pieces when playoff positioning is more established. With a chance to win this division and get a BYE, both are supremely tempting routes.

Commish has been a naysayer about the MN Moose Knuckles all season, but no longer!

Week 11 Low Score (AKA the JordJack Award)

  • Shepherd Goods Choppers (Jordan)

  • 679

Notes: It just keeps getting worse and worse.

Week 11 MVP

  • LeBron James

  • The Pullies (Peter/Eric)

  • 257 pts

Notes: A MASSIVE week from LBJ gives The Pullies a crucial victory towards winning a BYE. After a week of Cabras action, The Pullies have two more crucial weeks against Wait ‘Til Next Year and MN Moose Knuckles in Week 14 and Week 15.

Week 11 LVP(s)

  • Kyle Anderson

  • Cooper Troopers (Cooper)

  • 36 points

Notes: Slo-Mo is one of the low-key most disappointing players of the entire season so far. He scored about .5 points per minute last week, which just tanked the Cooper Troopers in a tight matchup.

Week 12 MATCHUP of the WEEK

  • Win’s Up Doc [8-2] (1st) vs Wait ‘Til Next Year [7-3] (6th)

Win’s Up Doc won the first matchup in this matchup of titans. A second win is crucial for seeding implications. Win’s Up Doc has a MUCH easier schedule coming up after this week, and should go down to the wire with DTC Porkchop Express, one of whom will almost certainly win a BYE. For Wait ‘Til Next Year, his chances of getting the 1-seed gets much more difficult with a loss. Wait ‘Til Next Year also puts himself at risk of missing the playoffs with a loss. He has the lowest percentage of making the playoffs amongst the 6 current playoff teams.
