SG Choppers trade grade: A
Win’s Up Doc trade grade: B

Trade Summary:
For Win’s Up Doc, it’s best to trade away a keeper NOW before it becomes too late. Overvaluing those players could lean to being left holding the bag, and grabbing SOMETHING, even if it isn’t optimal value, is a great decision. He gets a top-27 NBA pick in return for Gafford and Poole which isn’t as much as you’d want, but it it’s far from bad. That pick should allow Doc to retool next season in NBA with just as formidable a squad as the previous year.

There’s no doubt Oat can pick them in NBA, and this gives him ore bites at the apple. It’s a good trade, and he also gets some decent starting pitching options and Thielen, an interesting win-now 10th keeper if he wants. This trade gives Oat assets to play with, and that, at the very least, is a good move.

For the Choppers, they get Jordan Poole, a young stud. He’s the best player in the deal and should be around for years to come. Getting him at this point is a HAUL, and the Choppers should feel very grateful to have the 6th keeper nailed down without giving up a top-2 pick in any sport.

It’s a great deal for the Choppers and a solid deal for Win’s Up Doc. It’s good for everyone involved, and both sides should feel optimistic about their current trajectories.
