(Tier 1) There is no clear top dawg in the League of Leagues, but there is a top Otter. @Korey Koob takes the top spot (for now). It was an impressive victory, and Korey chopped that lean pork right up as much as a SG Chopper chopped up a BamO… but @Craig McCall was amongst the most disappointing teams in week 1. He had some absolute no-shows from some high draft capital players, and his QB situation is a bit of a mess without any top options. It was a Matchup of the Week that wasn’t as exciting as it might have been. As a result, @Craig McCall is our biggest faller of the week. @Korey Koob claims the top spot by beating a good team in the toughest division in the league of leagues, but this isn’t a situation where Korey has solidified himself as the dominant force season-long.@Michael Strauss is 2nd (for now) with a win in the toughest division in the league as well, but he only beat Doctor Down Bad, which doesn’t count for much these days.

Sporty Strauss has straight games against the Ornery Otters in week 2 and the DTC Porkchop Express in week 3. Hopefully Strauss is made of stronger stuff than the Packers defense in Jacksonville. @BamO rounds us out in Tier 1. His team is unreal, but football is so random week-to-week. That’s why it’s tough to trade budget from the less random sports for budget in the most random, injury-riddled, 1-game per week sport of them all.

(Tier 2) There are so many teams jumbled up in tier 2. Lucky for all of them, they are all much closer to Tier 1 than Tier 3. There are some bad teams out here. But that’s for later. Las Cabras look great after their QB-heavy draft strategy. @Jordan Sinclair and @Trevor Pearson are the true G.O.A.T.S. of snake drafting by filling their roster out perfectly. The Shepherd Goods Choppers is the biggest risers this week, firmly putting himself into competitive status. Mahomes-McCaffrey is an unreal 1-2 punch that’ll keep him in a lot of games. @Jordan Dye needs to fill out his roster a bit, but it looks great so far. He beat a top-tier team and has an very, very, very easy schedule coming up the rest through most of the regular season. The last 5 weeks get a bit tougher, but he plays only one Tier 1 team in the next 8 weeks. @Jordan Dye could get off to a roll. The Cooper Troopers have a solid foundation to his team and he scored a lot of points this week, but he lacks a little bit of depth right now. $traight Cash Homie is more or less built the same. Any of these teams can easily vault into Tier 1 with a good week 2 or 3. They just need to prove it.(Tier 3) The bottom of this league looks bleak. The Pullies don’t have RBs (even with a good Ty’Son peformance), no top QBs, and some WRs who look like they might have worse years than last year. The MN Moose Knuckles lost a starting QB and their #3 RB this week. Gonna get harder and harder to hoof their way into contention even with one of the best RB tandems and WR tandems in the league. Both Wait ’Til Next Year and The Pullies have plethoras of QBs with no logical trade partners out there. Win’s Up Doc is the bottom team, but doesn’t have enough mid-round talent to make a deal for a sub-par QB option worth it. @Pat mcgonagill is still in rough shape with only the Bears starting QB on his roster. Let’s see if the trade winds can begin to flow. So far they’ve been flowing as much as @Craig McCall’s beautiful hair in the wind (which is to say: nonexistent).
