  • Las Cabras (3) 146pts OVER SG Choppers (4) 134pts

(Tier 1) We have a favorite. The Cooper Troopers (1) are unreal. The pass-catchers (Kelce, Kupp, Adams, Amon-Ra, Bateman + Cooper on the bench) are practically unstoppable. The RBs aren’t spectacular and there is some worry about Edmonds/Mostert/Penny as his RB2, but that’s something that the Troopers could improve on as the season goes along via trade or situation. But the biggest news is the ascendance of Tua Tagovailoa. Brady and Tua looks to be a stellar pairing at QB that could carry the favorites to a title.

$traight Cash Homie (2) is still right behind Coop, but he’s clearly a little bit further back, especially with a couple of injuries mounting up right now. He could clearly use Pittman and Conner back in a matchup between undefeated teams against MN Moose Knuckles this week.

(Tier 2) Tier 2 entirely consists of those three Shepherd Goods Division teams that are jockeying for a division lead or a playoff berth. Las Cabras (3) are a game behind the top dogs in the standings, but beating the SG Choppers (4) is one of the most crucial victories in the new season to date. Both Las Cabras and the Choppers are clear contenders, and they will be battling The Pullies (5) for the division.

While Fhima’s Division and Nolo’s Division have CLEAR top teams, the Shepherd Goods Division has this 3-team race that could prove to be pretty exciting. All 3 teams (Cabras, Choppers and Pullies) have excellent QB situations, so it could be tight and ever win matters. With Win’s Up Doc (11) as the final team in this division, it should be expected for this division to potentially have 3 playoff teams.

(Tier 3) At 2-0, the MN Moose Knuckles (6) COULD be considered a Tier 2 team, but they still aren’t in the top half in points scored. They seem closer to the bottom than the top given the strength of the roster and the lack of quarterback options. Derek Carr looks solid, but Matt Ryan in Indianapolis could be washed. Hall also lacks elite young receiver talent as well, but the RBs (Chubb, Henry and Cordarrelle) are good right now and could continue carrying him to wins. Hall looks like a fringe, frisky playoff team, but he could take a 3-0 stranglehold with a division win this week. Then he has to be considered a contender.

Wait ‘Til Next Year (7) vastly improved his fortunes with the Ekeler trade. But he traded his first round NFL pick away, so he’s really counting on the players that he has to be good for years to come. Wait ‘Til Next Year still has a tough road towards competing in NFL, and he probably needs a better QB2 than Mac, Daniel Jones or Mariota, especially if Herbert is going to be banged up for the foreseeable future. He also has his top-2 WRs playing for sup-bar QBs (Lamb and Metcalf) which caps his week-to-week upside. Beating the DTC Porkchop Express was huge for his season, but the schedule won’t necessarily lighten up in the foreseeable future. The next 3 weeks could be tough when he will want to go 2-1 and get back to .500.

The Ornery Otters (8) are Wait ‘Til Next Year’s opponent this week, and the winner of this game becomes a firm playoff contender. It’s a huge matchup between teams that have clear weaknesses, but the Ornery Otters’ QB2 option with Winston looks to be the biggest one right now given his current injury and his history. The Otters should be favored in the matchup, but they have more risk as the season goes along with so many injuries on the roster already.

And last in Tier 3 is still DTC Porkchop Express who isn’t quite as bad as the 0-2 start dictates. He is banged up at RB with Kamara going down, but Jeff Wilson is a great plug-and-play back for the next couple of months. His WRs are starting to play better, but the real concern is QB. Tannehill looks awful, Trey Lance broke his leg and Zach Wilson is still hurt. It’s hard to win in League of Leagues with at least one dominant QB, and DTC Porkchop Express have zero out of three.

(Tier 4) To start off Tier 4, The BamO’s (10) are an unmitigated disaster. There will be more on the details of Sam and Ez’s awfulness later, but suffice it to say, this is an aging team that has hit the end of its line dynasty-wise. A long and painful rebuild is inevitable, and The BamO’s are easily in the worst long-term position in the League of Leagues. Sam and Ez have almost no way of contending not only now but in the next few years to come.

Last are Win’s Up Doc (11) and Sporty Strauss (12), the two traditionally tanking teams. It’s smart to tank early, and a Week 6 matchup between the two will dictate who is truly (and hopefully for them) the worst NFL team in the League of Leagues.

Week 2 High Score

  • Cooper Troopers (Coop)

  • 171 points

Notes: Coop is averaging over 160 points per game and he’s not even starting the best players every week. Inexplicably, Rashod Bateman was on his bench and Amari Cooper also could have done damage. The Cooper Troopers are 30 points higher than the next team on this list, and have assembled one of the most dominant teams in LoL history.

Week 2 Low Score

  • The BamO’s (Sam/Ez)

  • 99 points

Notes: On the flip side, The BamO’s have barely managed to average over 100 points per game this season – 120 points behind the Cooper Troopers. This team is old and decaying. Rodgers and Wilson look terrible, and he needs one of them to be a QB1. Who knows how much longer they even have in the league. Dalvin Cook and Aaron Jones have crossed the age threshold at RB as well, and neither have many good years left. And now Mike Evans goes and gets himself suspended, leaving The BamO’s in an even more dire position this week. Evans is old too, so that’s 5 starters (Wilson, Rodgers, Evans, Cook and Jones) that are all on the decline.

This team needs to rebuild sooner rather than later. If he waits too long, he might not get anything for these players.

Week 2 MVP

  • Josh Allen

  • Las Cabras (Trevor/Jordan)

  • 30 points

Notes: Two dominant weeks from Josh Allen have put Las Cabras back on the map. He edged out the Choppers by 12 points, which was the narrowest victory in the League of Leagues in Week 2. He’s keeping this squad afloat, and expect him to keep doing so. He’s the best player in NFL fantasy and could be one of the 5 best assets in all of League of Leagues. Maybe the best.

Week 2 LVP

  • DJ Chark

  • The BamO’s (Sam & EZ)

  • 0 points

Notes: Straying from the usual close matchup LVP that so often takes this award, this week’s LVP is about a trade. For some reason that still remains absolutely mystifying, The BamO’s decided to trade up 11 spots in the middle of the NFL draft AFTER all the good players had been taken for DJ Chark. They gave up their 2nd BEST (!!!) NBA pick in the upcoming draft. To date, this is the most confusing trade made in the League of Leagues. Sam’s other bad trades had solid reasons behind doing them, but this one might now go down as the single worst trade in League of Leagues history after DJ Chark scored 0 points in his first BamO’s action. Sam and Ez’s squad is a disaster right now, and the season is unraveling.
